JGRPG

JGRPG adds an RPG progression system to Valheim with three playable classes, talent trees, active abilities, and shared world progression.

Features

Tank

A defensive class focused on armor, blocking, damage reduction, taunting enemies, and protecting nearby allies.

Berserker

An aggressive melee class focused on melee damage, attack speed, Rage, low-health bonuses, and powerful close-range abilities.

Ranger

A ranged class focused on bows and crossbows, mobility, Hunter's Mark, explosive attacks, rapid fire, and party buffs.

Controls

Keyboard

• U - Open or close the Talent Tree
• Shift + 1 - Ability 1
• Shift + 2 - Ability 2
• Shift + 3 - Ability 3
• Shift + 4 - Ability 4
• Shift + 5 - Ability 5

Gamepad

Default gamepad controls:

• LB + D-Pad Up - Ability 1
• LB + D-Pad Right - Ability 2
• LB + D-Pad Down - Ability 3
• LB + D-Pad Left - Ability 4
• LB + A - Ability 5
• LB + Y - Open or close the Talent Tree

While the Talent Tree is open:

• D-Pad - Navigate talents
• A - Purchase the selected talent or activate Reset Talents

Keyboard and gamepad bindings can be changed in the mod configuration.

Installation

Mod Manager

Install JGRPG through Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. Required dependencies should be installed automatically.

Manual Installation

Install BepInEx and Jotunn first. Then place JGRPG.dll inside: BepInEx/plugins/JGRPG/

Multiplayer

JGRPG is intended for multiplayer use and should be installed on the dedicated server and on every player's client. Single-player and dedicated-server multiplayer functionality have been tested. Additional multiplayer edge cases may still exist.
