From Mistlands onward, magic staves become the primary equipment for damage progression, increasing ability damage based on the equipped staff's progression tier. Magic staves do not reduce spell channeling time.

The Shaman excels at keeping allies alive and strengthening their defenses while retaining offensive capabilities for solo play. Shamans can cast abilities while unarmed, wielding magic staves, using a shield, or equipping a one-handed mace or club with or without a shield. Magic staves remain the primary source of Chain Lightning damage progression from Mistlands onward.
Recommended Equipment
- Armor: Eitr-focused mage armor for spellcasting or protective armor for additional survivability.
- Weapons: Magic staves or one-handed maces and clubs. Magic Staves continue scaling for Chain Lightning in the same fashion as with the Galdramaðr class.

- Playstyle: Support spellcaster specializing in healing, protective magic, elemental resistance, and lightning damage.

Upon release, healing jumps to up to two additional nearby allies, prioritizing those with the lowest remaining health percentage. Automatically targets the Shaman if no ally is selected when casting begins.
