PowerShower
This mod allows you to change the config of all vanilla powers also enabling you to have multiple powers active at once with separate cooldowns and keybinds!PowerShower
Give each Forsaken power its own duration and cooldown, with optional separate keybinds and a display showing each power's state.
1.1.1 shortcut fix
An assigned shortcut now takes priority over the game's normal power button, regardless of which input handler runs first. For example, F assigned to Eikthyr activates Eikthyr even when Bonemass is equipped, and H assigned to Bonemass activates Bonemass.
If Eikthyr is locked or on cooldown, F reports that condition and does not activate Bonemass instead. Each matching shortcut is handled once per frame. Without a matching enabled shortcut, the normal power button continues to use the equipped power.
Installation and updating
Install using Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman, or put ForsakenPowerDuration.dll in a folder under BepInEx/plugins. Requires BepInExPack Valheim. A compatible configuration manager is optional and is not bundled.
Close Valheim before updating. Keep only one active copy of ForsakenPowerDuration.dll, including loose copies left by manual installs. Keep BepInEx/config/local.valheim.forsakenpowerduration.cfg; existing settings and saved character cooldown keys are unchanged.
Settings
In a compatible configuration manager, search for Forsaken Power Duration after the game loads its powers. Each power has duration, cooldown, separate-keybind enable, and activation shortcut settings. Duration and cooldown defaults come from the game's power definitions. Different power buffs can overlap, and cooldowns are saved independently with your character.
Unlock a power by selecting it at its boss stone before using its separate shortcut. Assign unique shortcuts. A shortcut may use the normal power button: that shortcut then takes precedence, including when its power cannot activate. Menus, text input and the game's normal input restrictions suppress shortcuts.
Duration changes apply on the next activation or refresh; cooldown changes apply on the next activation. Existing waits are not shortened by changing settings. Use Default/Reset to restore a setting's game-derived default.
Power display
The optional expanded HUD shows equipped, enabled and unlocked, active, or cooling-down powers using the game's icons and fonts. Entries show shortcuts, readiness, individual cooldowns and active duration. A green icon indicates an active buff.
The 00 - Power display section controls visibility, Up/Right layout, spacing, scale and position. Turning the display off restores the original widget.
Multiplayer
Settings are local and are not synchronized with a server. Each receiving client applies its own duration settings to received power buffs. Install on each player who wants custom behavior and match settings manually when needed.
Validation
Version 1.1.1 builds against the installed Valheim assemblies with zero errors. Fifteen existing behavioral checks and 22 new routing checks pass in a stubbed game environment. The new tests exercise both native-first and mod-first input order, independent F/H routing, cooldowns, locked powers, normal unassigned-button behavior and menu restrictions.
The user confirmed the 1.1.1 fix in game: F activated Eikthyr, H activated Bonemass, and each shortcut reported its own cooldown correctly. Automated checks use a stubbed environment and do not install Harmony patches. Other mods changing the same input or activation methods may conflict.
