Shows an image of your choice (rules, Discord, server info...) when the player enters the world, like the welcome screens of Arma and DayZ servers.
Client-side only. Nothing is needed on the server. Works in single player, hosted worlds and dedicated servers.
How it works
- The image appears after the intro (the Valkyrie ride and the lore texts) and after loading/teleporting is done.
- It shows every time the player enters a world, until they tick Don't show again.
- The player is frozen and the mouse is free while the screen is open.
- Close with the ENTENDI button (the game's own menu button, with its hover and click sound) or with Enter / Numpad Enter. That Enter doesn't open the chat.
- Don't show again: tick the box at the bottom left of the image (vanilla click sound) and then press ENTENDI or Enter. The screen is turned off for good (
Ativado = false). If the box isn't ticked, the screen just closes. - The image is loaded in the background while still in the main menu, so opening the screen causes no stutter.
Setup
- Install the mod and start the game once. It creates the folder
BepInEx/config/ValheimNotice/. - Put your image in that folder named
welcome.png. - Done. Enter a world to see it.
Image size
- Any size works: the image is scaled to fit, keeping its proportions, up to 80% of the screen.
- Ideal: 1536 x 774 px (or 2048 x 1032 for 1440p/4K).
- Don't draw a close button on the image: the mod adds one below it.

Ship welcome.png (and the .cfg, if you want) inside your modpack under BepInEx/config/ValheimNotice/ so every player sees your screen.

Mostra uma imagem que você escolher (regras, Discord, informações do servidor...) quando o jogador entra no mundo, igual às telas de boas-vindas de servidor de Arma e DayZ.
Só no cliente. Não precisa de nada no servidor. Funciona no solo, em mundo hospedado e em servidor dedicado.
Como funciona
- A imagem aparece depois do intro (a valquíria e os textos da lore) e depois do loading/teleporte terminar.
- Aparece toda vez que o jogador entra no mundo, até ele marcar Não mostrar novamente.
- O personagem fica parado e o mouse fica livre enquanto a tela está aberta.
- Fecha no botão ENTENDI (o próprio botão do menu do jogo, com hover e som de clique) ou no Enter / Enter do teclado numérico. Esse Enter não abre o chat.
- Não mostrar novamente: marque a caixinha no canto esquerdo embaixo da imagem (som de clique vanilla) e depois aperte ENTENDI ou Enter. A tela é desativada de vez (
Ativado = false). Se a caixinha não estiver marcada, a tela só fecha. - A imagem é carregada em segundo plano ainda no menu principal, então abrir a tela não dá travadinha.
Instalação
- Instale o mod e abra o jogo uma vez. Ele cria a pasta
BepInEx/config/ValheimNotice/. - Coloque sua imagem nessa pasta com o nome
welcome.png. - Pronto. Entre num mundo pra ver.
Tamanho da imagem
- Qualquer tamanho funciona: a imagem é ajustada pra caber, mantendo a proporção, em até 80% da tela.
- Ideal: 1536 x 774 px (ou 2048 x 1032 pra 1440p/4K).
- Não desenhe botão de fechar na imagem: o mod já coloca um embaixo.
