MySix ArmorStandSwap

Pressing E on an armour stand exchanges gear with it in one go. The stand leads: only the slots it already has something in are exchanged, so a stand holding a chest piece takes your chest piece and leaves your cape and belt where they are. Whatever you are wielding always goes onto the stand, and a weapon or shield the stand is displaying comes to you and is equipped. Block as you press E to swap everything instead, which is how you dress an empty stand from what you are wearing. Because block sits on a trigger, that works on a controller and on a Steam Deck in Game Mode, with no keyboard needed. Holding Alt does the same for when your hands are empty and there is nothing to block with - that is the Option key on a Mac, and it is configurable. Hotbar keys 1-8 work exactly as before.

Part of the MySix mod suite. Every mod in the suite needs MySix Core, which adds the in-game mysix command for reading and changing settings. On a server, settings are owned by the server: an admin changes a value once and every connected player picks it up.

Installing

Install with a mod manager - the Thunderstore Mod Manager, Gale and r2modman all work - or unzip the DLL into BepInEx/plugins yourself. Everyone playing together should run the same version.

Settings

Press F5 in game and type mysix to list every setting, or edit BepInEx/config/com.mysix.*.cfg.

Note on achievements

Valheim disables achievements while any mod is loaded. To re-enable them, press F5 and enter yesiuseddevcommandsbutiwantmyachievementsanyway 1.
