MySix UniqueItems
The one-of-a-kind pickups and creatures inside one-per-world locations come back after a while.MySix UniqueItems
In the unmodded game the one-off things inside a one-per-world location are taken once and never return, so on a shared world only the first player there ever gets them. Dyrnwyn's three fragment sources are the best-known case. Here they come back after a while, half an hour of game time by default, which is one game day, and the one-off creatures of those locations such as Lord Reto come back too. Ordinary stone and rock piles standing in the same ruins are left alone. Every player needs this one. The game decides a pickup's fate on whichever machine owns it, which is the game of the player standing there, so installing it only on the server does nothing for them: a player without it deletes a unique pickup that has already been taken, and it never returns. Put it on the server too, which covers a hosted world, single player, and anything the server still owns.
Part of the MySix mod suite. Every mod in the suite needs MySix Core, which adds the
in-game mysix command for reading and changing settings. On a server, settings are owned by
the server: an admin changes a value once and every connected player picks it up.
