EpicLootAdventureTools
Epic Loot bounty and treasure tracker with search, distance sorting, missing-spawn checks and optional diagnostics.Epic Loot Adventure Tools
An unofficial Epic Loot companion by Pumpli for tracking your bounties and treasure maps.
Features and controls
- N: open or close the fixed-size tracker beneath the minimap, including while walking or sprinting.
- Left Alt: toggle the cursor. Walking remains available; mouse-look pauses while the cursor is enabled. Tracker clicks are blocked from attack controls.
- Search, Nearest first, and Re-sort help find adventures.
- All / Active / Done / Missing: filter adventures. Done shows bounties awaiting vendor collection, never treasures.
- Live distances and Iron/Gold/Boss labels, numeric stars, configured bounty HP multiplier and escort count.
- Show on map: open your adventure marker.
- Check: inspect nearby loaded adventure areas. Yellow messages report the result.
- Reset: attempt recovery for flagged missing/stalled spawns, with fresh safety checks.
- Escape / X: close. Teleporting also closes the tracker.
Progress checks run every five seconds while the tracker is open. Spawn searches happen only for Check, recovery or diagnostics. Missing flags are remembered during the session. Visit the area and allow it to load before checking; an unloaded area does not prove a broken spawn.
Installation
Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman, then launch Valheim modded. BepInExPack Valheim and Epic Loot are required and declared as dependencies. This tool is client-side; no dedicated-server installation is needed.
For manual installation, copy plugins/EpicLootAdventureTools into BepInEx/plugins. Remove older local/imported copies before installing the published version to avoid duplicates.
Configuration
Generated at BepInEx/config/pumpli.epicloot.adventuretools.cfg:
[General]
Tracker toggle key = N
Enable diagnostics = false
Enable diagnostics locally to access F10, with a two-second debug refresh. Typing in Search captures gameplay keys until focus is released.
Version 0.8.2
Experimental shared adventures have been removed following multiplayer issues. This version only displays your own adventures and sends no adventure-sharing messages. It restores stable panel sizing and adds a final player-control guard against clicks attacking through the tracker.
Built against Epic Loot 0.14.5. Build validation and 33 isolated stacking checks passed; the UI/input fixes still need in-game verification. Difficulty labels describe Epic Loot configuration, not measured total health or a universal combat rating. Other mods may affect actual difficulty.
Optional InventoryActions compatibility merges compatible Epic Loot materials, tokens, runestones and shardstones using native stacking rules, preserving metadata. InventoryActions is not required. Enchanted equipment is excluded.

Created by Pumpli as an unofficial companion. Epic Loot is created by RandyKnapp and the Epic Loot team. Dependency binaries are not included.
