SakeysSpawnThatconfigforNIGHTspawn
A Spawn That config file that disables nighttime spawns such as Seekers. Changes for Valheim 1.0.Sakey's Spawn that config for NIGHT Spawn
English
I REALLY Hate Seekers...!
I'm totally fine with skeletons and shamans spawning. They're not a big deal at all, and I can handle them easily. However, if flying mobs with that kind of damage output, like Seekers, start appearing all the way inside my carefully built main base, that's seriously not okay. Please, for the love of Odin, leave me alone.
This is a Spawn That config file designed to disable high-damage nighttime spawns from the mid-game onward.
・Nighttime Fuling spawns outside the Plains after defeating Yagluth
・Nighttime Seeker, Seeker Soldier, and Tick spawns outside the Mistlands after defeating the Queen
・Nighttime Charred Soldier spawns outside the Ashlands after defeating Fader
These are the spawns that this config disables. This is specifically intended to disable the post-Goblin nighttime spawns, which can cause significant damage to buildings, so nighttime spawns after defeating the bosses of the Swamp and Black Forest biomes are not included.
Deep North Fimbulvinter-related spawns are also not included.
Changes
・Updated the spawn IDs that had changed due to the Valheim 1.0 update.
・Added the nighttime spawns across all biomes after defeating the Deep North boss to the disabled settings.
【Installation】
・First, install "SpawnThat", launch the game, enter a world, leave it running for just a few seconds, and then exit. *・Go to steamapp/common/Valheim/BepInEx/config and copy the file "spawn_that.world_spawners_advanced.cfg" from the extracted ZIP folder into it. ・You will receive a warning that a file with the same name already exists, so select "Replace the file."
【Notes / Additional Information】
※SpawnThat works by specifying the spawn ID assigned to each monster and overriding the game's own settings through the config, so changing the contents of this file may cause the settings to stop working!
※The monsters that normally spawn in their native biomes and the versions that begin spawning across all biomes at night after defeating a boss have separate spawn IDs internally, so they are treated as separate spawn entries even when they are the same monster. Therefore, installing this config will not remove Seekers spawning in the Mistlands, Charred Soldiers spawning in the Ashlands, or other monsters spawning within their native biomes. (It is possible to completely disable those as well... but that requires a separate configuration.)*

・steamapp/common/Valheim/BepInEx/configに、ZIPファイル解凍したフォルダ内にあるファイル**「spawn_that.world_spawners_advanced.cfg」をコピーして貼り付けてください。

Sakey's SpawnThat Config for NIGHT Spawns
I hate Seekers so much…!
To all builders out there:
Are you struggling with Seekers spawning at night after defeating The Queen?
(For me, the first time I heard that thing's voice in the Meadows… I honestly got chills…)
Skeletons or Shamans spawning? That's totally fine. I can deal with that.
But when flying enemies like Seekers, with that ridiculous damage output, start appearing inside a carefully built main base…
That's not funny anymore.
Seriously, please no.
"Wait, can't SpawnThat remove them?"
...Config files?
"Do I have to write something myself?"
"Spawn IDs? What are those? Do I have to search for them? Use debug mode?"
Ugh… I want them gone, but it looks complicated, I don't understand it, and it sounds like a pain… (´・ω・`)
But I hate those damn Seekers…
I want to do something about it…
For those players who feel the same way, I would like to share my successful SpawnThat configuration file!
I spent more than six months playing Valheim, researching, testing, and finally getting it working.
You don't need to write anything yourself.
Just extract the file, copy it, and overwrite your existing config.
I know what you're thinking.
The Charred enemies that start appearing at night after defeating Fader,
Ticks and Seekers after defeating The Queen,
and even Goblins after defeating Yagluth…
Of course, I configured them all so they won't spawn at night.
Naturally.
【Installation】
First, install SpawnThat, launch the game, enter your world, wait a few seconds, and then exit the game.
Go to:
steamapp/common/Valheim/BepInEx/config
Copy the file:
spawn_that.world_spawners_advanced.cfg
from the extracted ZIP folder and paste it there.
When Windows asks if you want to replace the existing file, choose "Replace the file in the destination."
【Notes & Additional Information】
※ This configuration may stop working in future updates if the spawn IDs are changed. If that happens, I plan to update the file.
※ SpawnThat works by assigning each monster its own spawn ID and allowing users to override those settings through configuration files. Changing the contents of this config may cause it to stop working properly!
※ Normal biome spawns and the special night spawns that appear in all biomes after defeating bosses use different internal spawn IDs.
Therefore, installing this config will not remove Seekers that naturally spawn in the Mistlands, nor will it remove Charred enemies that naturally spawn in the Ashlands.
These enemies will remain in their original biomes.
(It is possible to remove them completely as well… but that's a different configuration.)
I only speak Japanese,
and I am not a modder.
I'm just a regular player.
Please keep that in mind.
However, if this helps people who think:
"I want to remove these annoying spawns, but I don't want to deal with complicated settings…"
then I will be happy.
Cheers!
