OdinsMantle
Fuse eligible Valheim cloaks into Odin's Mantle to combine their powers.Odin's Mantle
Author: Vagabond66
Version: 0.4.6
Game: Valheim
Odin's Mantle lets you fuse eligible vanilla cloaks into one mantle and combine their abilities. Fusion is performed through the in-game fusion interface while near a Galdr Table.
Features
- Built-in frost resistance.
- Feather Cape: Feather Fall; fire weakness is removed when Asksvin is also fused.
- Asksvin Cape: configurable Wild Run speed bonus; counters Feather Cape fire weakness.
- Ashen Cape: shared +11 armor, 10% less attack stamina usage, and 20% less block stamina usage.
- Moose Cape: shared +11 armor, 20% less attack stamina usage, and 20% less run stamina usage.
- Shared armor bonus does not stack across Ashen and Moose.
- Cape of the Caller (future implementation): intended effects are shared +11 armor, 20% more Eitr regeneration, and 10% less dodge stamina usage. Caller is disabled as a fusion option in 0.4.6 pending further testing.
- Fusion capacity is determined by Galdr Table level: levels 2–5 allow up to 2–5 fused cloaks.
- Fusion data is preserved when upgrading Odin's Mantle.
- Each quality upgrade costs 1 Silver and 1 Eitr; initial crafting costs 5 Silver and 5 Eitr.
- Eitr runaway protection and diagnostic logging are retained for investigation.
- If your character got the Eitr Bar bug that displays a large negative number, you will need to restore it from the manage saves backup.
Requirements
- Valheim
- BepInExPack for Valheim
- Jötunn
The package manifest declares BepInExPack 5.4.2351 and Jötunn 2.30.2.
Installation
Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager/r2modman, or import the generated package ZIP. For manual installation, the plugin DLL belongs at Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/OdinsMantle/OdinsMantle.dll. The package does not include BepInEx or Jötunn binaries.
Diagnostics and support
If the mod fails to load or an effect behaves unexpectedly, attach the relevant BepInEx/LogOutput.log section, including \[EitrDiag] and \[CallerDiag] entries, with your Valheim and dependency versions. Back up characters before testing builds that touch Eitr behavior.
