📦 Storage & Inventory

Deposit Chests: Drop off supplies and automatically sort them into matching storage.
Remembered items: Chests remember assigned item types even when empty.
Storage rules: Configure preferred destinations, overflow chests and separate base groups. Copy settings between chests.
Supply permissions: Choose which chests provide crafting materials, production inputs, fuel or animal feed.
Inventory tools: Deposit All, sort inventories and chests, and combine compatible stacks.
Pickup controls: Choose which item types to collect automatically.
Stack sizes: Configure maximum stack sizes without changing item weight.

Furniture artwork: Models and textures are works in progress, kept simple for testing. They do not represent the final artwork.

Craft from storage: Craft, build and upgrade using nearby stored materials.
Building coverage: Extend station coverage through your Deposit Chest’s area.
Production: Supply compatible processors, fermenters and cooking racks, then collect finished goods.
Machine controls: Set production caps, pause automation and protect valuable wood.
Refuelling & feeding: Supply fires and torches, feed animals and optionally feed creatures being tamed.
Protection wards: Enabled wards turn hostile creatures away while retaining their normal access rules.

Owl companion: Oversees Deposit Chests, reacts to sorting and explains storage problems.
Helmsman integration: Ask the gull captain to unload ship cargo into your base.
Accessible menus: Searchable chest settings, range previews and controller navigation.

Install BepInEx, Jötunn and Quartermaster. Disable overlapping storage and automation mods.
Open a chest → Chest Config → Use as Deposit Chest.
Put example items in receiving chests, or manage assignments through Chest Config.
Put supplies in the Deposit Chest and close it.
Choose each storage chest’s withdrawal permissions under Supply.
Aim at a machine and press F9 to configure it.

Normal recipe and station requirements still apply. Automation works in loaded areas; it does not automatically restock your player inventory.

Testing: Functional in local play. Multiplayer remains untested. Use matching versions on server and clients.
