A Gliding skill for ValheimGlider by Yggdrah. Practice with an open glider to improve your control and stamina efficiency.
Features
- Gain skill experience while actively gliding through the air. Equipping a glider or falling with it closed does not train the skill.
- Turn toward your camera direction more quickly as your skill improves. Pitch and bank also respond more quickly.
- Spend less stamina on gliding if the parent mod's stamina system is enabled. Disabling that system in ValheimGlider still disables its stamina drain.
- A normal level 0–100 skill in the skills menu, saved with your character. It appears after gaining experience. Normal skill gain modifiers, including Rested, and death penalties apply.
- English and Russian skill name and description.
- Server-synchronized experience and bonus settings.

These percentages are relative to the settings of your currently equipped glider. Glider tiers retain their different handling. Cruise speed, descent speed, stamina required to open a glider, and ground clearance remain governed by ValheimGlider.
The default training rate is 1 base skill XP per second of active flight, awarded once per second. This is experience, not one skill level per second. Higher levels require more experience, using Valheim's normal skill progression curve. Fractional flight seconds carry across short flights during the same character session. Experience is independent of frame rate, and duplicate updates in one frame cannot award extra XP.
Installation
Install with Gale, r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager and let it install the dependencies.
For manual installation, install the dependencies and copy BepInEx/plugins/WDIENAT-Glider_Plus_Valheim_Glider_Addon/GliderPlus.dll into the matching folder in your game or profile.
For multiplayer, install the same addon version and its dependencies on the server and all clients. The server provides the balance settings. Server admins can change them; single-player uses your local settings.
This addon targets ValheimGlider 1.0.4 (Yggdrah-ValheimGlider), whose DLL is named ValheimGliders.dll. The older IBelieveICanFly and ValheimGliders Thunderstore packages are not supported replacements.
Configuration
After the first launch: BepInEx/config/WDIENAT.GliderSkill.cfg.

Both bonuses scale linearly from zero at skill level 0. Setting a bonus to 0 disables it without removing your skill progress. Edit the file while the game/server is stopped, or change values through a compatible in-game configuration manager.
The parent mod controls whether gliding uses stamina through Yggdrah.ValheimGliders.cfg, section Glider Stamina, setting 01 - Enable Stamina System. This addon does not overwrite that file or apply its stamina discount to running, jumping, combat, or other skills.
Compatibility
Target versions: Valheim 1.0.15, ValheimGlider 1.0.4, Jotunn 2.30.1, and BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350.
Mods that replace ValheimGlider's flight methods may conflict. If an incompatible version prevents the addon from loading, see BepInEx/LogOutput.log for details.
Like other custom skills, its saved progress needs the addon and Jotunn to be loaded when the character is loaded and saved.

Аддон добавляет навык «Планирование», который развивается во время полёта с раскрытым глайдером. Навык сохраняется у персонажа и отображается в обычном списке навыков после получения опыта.
На 100-м уровне по умолчанию повороты становятся на 50% отзывчивее, быстрее меняются наклон и крен, а расход выносливости снижается на 30%. Если расход отключён в основном моде, аддон его не включает. Скорость полёта и снижения, минимальная выносливость для раскрытия и высота раскрытия задаются основным модом.
Опыт: 1 базовая единица за секунду активного полёта. Действуют стандартные модификаторы опыта Valheim, бонус отдыха и штраф за смерть. Это не один уровень в секунду: стоимость следующих уровней постепенно растёт.
Настройки находятся в BepInEx/config/WDIENAT.GliderSkill.cfg. Для сетевой игры одинаковая версия аддона и зависимости нужны на сервере и у всех игроков; настройки баланса берутся с сервера.
