ComfortRadius Ymiron
Changes the radius within which base pieces count towards comfort (10 m in the vanilla game).ComfortRadius-Ymiron
Changes the radius within which base pieces (beds, chairs, tables, banners, fires, etc.) count towards the comfort level. In the vanilla game the radius is fixed at 10 m around the player: with this mod you choose it.
Configuration
File BepInEx\config\ymiron.valheim.comfortradius.cfg:
| Section | Key | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 - Comfort | Radius |
20 | Radius in meters (1 to 100). The vanilla game uses 10. |
Upgrading from 1.0.0: the file used to be gfrascarelli.valheim.comfortradius.cfg; copy your values over, then
delete the old file.
The file can be edited while the game is running: the mod reloads it on save and the game recalculates comfort within 2 seconds. It also works from the Configuration Manager (F1), if installed.
Beyond ~60 m a larger radius makes little difference: pieces far from the player are not loaded and are not counted.
Notes
- The other game rules still apply: you must be sheltered to get comfort, and pieces from the same group (for example two beds or two chairs) only count once.
- Comfort is calculated by each player's game: the mod applies to whoever installs it. It is not needed on the server.
Installation
- Mod manager (r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager): Settings > Import local mod and pick the zip.
- Manual: copy
ComfortRadius.dllintoBepInEx\plugins.
Requires BepInExPack_Valheim.
