HoneyPlus

HoneyPlus 6.1.1 is a compatibility/maintenance release for Valheim 1.0.

HoneyPlus expands Valheim's culinary and crafting experience by introducing new recipes, crafting stations, and food items centered around Honey. In a standard playthrough, beekeeping quickly results in massive stockpiles of unused honey—this mod gives that honey diverse, rewarding, and balanced uses throughout every stage of progression.

Originally created by OhhLoz. Maintained and packaged for Valheim 1.0 compatibility by momos3939.

Compatibility

• Target Game Version: Valheim 1.0
• Multiplayer: Must be installed on both client and dedicated server.
• Compatibility / Maintenance: Preserves 100% of HoneyPlus's original items, recipes, balance, assets, translations, and configurations.

Dependencies

HoneyPlus requires the following mods to run:

• BepInExPack Valheim (5.4.2333 or newer)
• Jötunn, the Valheim Library (2.30.0 or newer)

Installation

Via Mod Manager (Recommended)

1. Install r2modman or the Thunderstore Mod Manager.
2. Search for HoneyPlus by momos3939.
3. Click Download with Dependencies.
4. Launch Valheim via the mod manager.

Manual Installation

1. Ensure BepInEx and Jötunn (v2.30.0+) are installed.
2. Download and extract the HoneyPlus release .zip.
3. Place HoneyPlus.dll into your <Valheim>/BepInEx/plugins/HoneyPlus/ directory.
4. If installing on a dedicated server, repeat the steps in your server's BepInEx/plugins/ directory.

3. Hand Crafting (Inventory)

4. Cooking Station

• Cooked Honeycomb: Place raw Honey on a Cooking Station or Iron Cooking Station (Cooks in 25s). Gives the Sugar Rush effect (ignores fatigue).

5. Stone Oven

• Carrot Cake: Bake Uncooked Carrot Cake for 50s.
• Hare Pie: Bake Uncooked Hare Pie for 50s.

6. Fermenter Meads

• Energy Mead (fermented from Mead base: Energy): Grants Loki's Speed (+movement speed).
• Aesir Mead (fermented from Mead base: Aesir): Grants Odin's Wrath (+all damage types).

Configuration

A configuration file is automatically generated at BepInEx/config/OhhLoz-HoneyPlus.cfg on first launch. Settings are server-synced in multiplayer:

• Use legacy recipes (Default: false): Set to true to place all recipes in the vanilla Cauldron instead of the Apiary.
• Add vanilla recipes (Default: true): Set to false to disable crafting Tar and Royal Jelly at the Apiary.
• Change vanilla recipes (Default: true): Set to false to keep Boar & Wolf Jerky at the Cauldron rather than hand crafting.
• Add jerkys to cauldron (Default: false): Set to true to move the new Jerkies to the Cauldron.
• Use mead recipes (Default: true): Set to false to disable Energy and Aesir mead recipes.
