Pin It AutomaticMapPins
Automatically pins forageables, ores, dungeons, caves, camps and more on your map as you explore, using the game's own item and trophy icons.Pin It! - Automatic Map Pins
Automatically pins forageables when you harvest them, and dungeons, caves, ore deposits and points of interest when you come near them, using the game's own item and trophy icons.
Changes (v1.12.2)
- Added sound effects upon discovery (off by default, customizable sound)
- Added a visual effect when discovering a pin
- Added support for selecting icons from the build menu so you can add your portals and other structures to the map automatically (would not recommend adding boats) Add the following to your config under extras to do that (remove quotes): ";=portal_stone:Stone Portal:portal_stone;=portal_wood:Portal:portal_wood"
- Fixed some reported performance issues (if you have 1000+ pins it will lag regardless of this mod installed, so delete pins you don't need like tin)
Features (v1.10.0)
- Pins forageables used in cooking and consumables when you pick them, one pin per cluster (default 8 m) with a count such as
4x. - Pins dungeons and caves, ore deposits and extras (camps, towers, spawners, etc.) when you come within range.
- Every pin uses the item's inventory icon or a matching trophy icon. No image files are included.
- Ore pins show only the count (
1x,3x) by default, like forageables. Deposits within 20 m share one pin. - Silver is buried, so by default it's only pinned after you hit the deposit with a pickaxe.
- Pin It! labels only appear while your mouse is over the pin on the large map (can be turned off), and their text size can be changed.
- Every item has its own settings: Pin (stop pinning it), Visible (hide all its pins) and Delete all pins (bulk clean-up).
- A Toggle pin visibility checkbox on the large map hides every pin except boss pins and the spawn point.
- Each category can be hidden or made see-through.
- Client-side only. Works in single-player and on servers, and doesn't need to be installed on the server.

Pin data
Valheim saves the pins in your character's map as normal. Pin It! also keeps a small file recording which item each of its pins is for:
BepInEx\config\PinIt\<Character>_<World>.pins
If you uninstall the mod, your pins stay on the map with the standard marker.
