GraveOfTruth

A small Valheim mod that makes dying feel appropriately embarrassing. Dying brings a short thunderstorm down over you and sends you a message from Odin.

Multiplayer

Install it on every client that should get the show — the death is broadcast from the grave to everyone running the mod, and players without it see and hear nothing. No server-side install is needed, and it does not touch anyone's world or character. Every client puts on its own copy of the lightning, the storm and the jingle, so nothing is ever spawned or played twice.

Install

Install through a mod manager (Gale or r2modman), or drop the contents of the zip into BepInEx/plugins/rauschekuh-GraveOfTruth/.

Requires the BepInEx pack for Valheim.
