Tyr's Favour (Biome Raid Director)

If you are the kind of player that likes Valheim's base raid system in general, but don't want your peaceful Meadows farm base to be constantly raided by trolls, then this mod is for you.

Tyr's Favour puts the control of Valheim's event system directly into your hands. Using a dynamic, in-game configuration manager, you can easily toggle any raid on or off for specific biomes!

Features

• Full Biome Control: Every biome (Meadows, Black Forest, Swamp, Mountain, Plains, Ocean, Mistlands, Ashlands, Deep North) gets its own configuration menu.
• Dynamic Raid Detection: The mod automatically reads all events registered in the game, including dynamic ones added in recent updates (Mistlands, Ashlands) and some Hildir quests, ensuring you always have up-to-date control.
• On-the-Fly Adjustments: Using the BepInEx ConfigurationManager, you can easily toggle any raid directly in-game. No need to reboot or edit text files!
• Vanilla Logic Intact: If you allow an event, Valheim still checks its normal requirements (e.g. boss progression, base structures). This mod only restricts events you don't want.

Installation

Using a Mod Manager

1. Use Gale, r2modman, or the Thunderstore Mod Manager.
2. Click "Install with Mod Manager" on the mod page.

Manual Installation

1. Install BepInExPack Valheim.
2. Extract the TyrsFavour.dll directly into your BepInEx\plugins folder.

Usage

In-game (Recommended): Install the BepInEx ConfigurationManager mod. Press F1 (default) in-game to open the menu. Expand the "Tyr's Favour (Biome Raid Director)" section, select the biome you are in, and uncheck the raids you want to disable! (Note: The configuration menu is populated as soon as your character spawns into the world, to capture all events correctly).

Manual (Text File): If you prefer not to use the ConfigurationManager, simply launch the game once to generate the config file. Then, edit BepInEx\config\com.zeecamelsnake.TyrsFavourBiomeRaidDirector.cfg with any text editor.

Compatibility

Fully compatible with Valheim's latest "Deep North" update (v1.x.x) and should work with older versions as well. It should not conflict with other mods, as it hooks securely into the random event generation logic.

Safe to Uninstall?

Yes. This mod only intercepts the event system and does not alter your character or world save data. You can uninstall it at any time safely. (Note: It is always recommended to make a backup of your world and character saves before installing or uninstalling any mods).
