Note

The default configuration provided is a 4 person team Normal difficulty preset, and is what you will get if you press Download it from r2modmanager. To install other presets and difficulties, refer to the installation guide below. Looking at the mods themselves is not enough to get an idea of how this modlist plays, many of them have been changed

55+ mods | Fully configured | 100% Stable | No Performance Loss

This is Letalis; my custom configured, modular modlist for Lethal Company. Letalis contains three separate configurations, fine tuned in hopes of creating the best Lethal Company experience.

Your experience can be anything between a toned-down, lax stroll to a hardcore, grueling scrap collecting journey across the moons.

Your choice of Hazard level from the configurations presented to you will ultimately determine the type of tailored experience Letalis will provide. I've selected some of the best Lethal Company mods available and attempted to bind them into a cohesive gameplay experience.

If this proposal sounds intriguing to you, you may use the Atelier Company issued terminal and proceed with the briefing. Or, you can read my Steam guide for a shorter briefing on the modlist and its features.

Tip: type 'lategame store' to access new upgrades

Changelog

V 1.4.0: THE ALL AROUND UPDATE

An all-rounder update containing a bunch of new stuff to play with.

Some of the features include a new progression system, some utilities and rebalancing, cosmetics, and a new special item tied by the Desperate's Knots.

You can also gamble where you'll go moon wise now. You might land on Titan for free, or Eclipsed March. Leave it up to fate!

A few general changes I've made are:

  • Mimics no longer flood the facility and are now a rare spawn.
  • Decreased the number of coilhead spawns on the Solo and Duo configs
  • Forest Giants should camp the ship a little less now

V 1.2.6: THE MIMIC UPDATE

I saw this mod yesterday, and needed some time to test how it performs! "An entire new enemy", I thought, "That's going to need some testing.", but...

...That was when the team and I very quickly concluded that this thing is AWESOME! All credit goes to x753 and his Mimics(https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/x753/Mimics/) mod for making this possible!

I'd love to show you images, share tips and explain how it functions in detail, but that would absolutely spoil the surprise. I even wanted to sneak it in, but I felt like it absolutely needed an introduction and commendation.

Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

...Oh, and fixed the missing Discord link. Sorry!

V 1.2.5

Added text, updated potential issues. Fixed an FPS bug, reinstall if you installed through the manager.

Updated to allow a bounty-hunting kind of assignment type. Sorry for all the updates, there was a lot to clean up this launch ^^

V 1.2.0: UTILITY & DECOR UPDATE PART 1

This is part 1 of a 3 series update focused on improving aesthetics, with some new toys to play with as well.

Company sell prices are now randomized, but cannot go below 70%. This I suspect to be a bit of a controversial change, so let me know how it feels.

Hunting down Thumpers with shotguns got you all beat up? Try LethalExtras' healing station! It's quite expensive, unfortunately, the company doesn't seem to believe in free healthcare all that much.

Wish you could see that new suit you just bought? Now you can, thanks to a fully functioning Mirror. It's not all by itself, though, as you now have some very cozy rugs to spruce up your ship with, courtesy of LethalThings (...And a new antagonist, but don't tell that to anyone)

Make your terminal more lively with Terminal Colors! If you're looking for some extra motivation, we have customizable Paintings and Posters, with instructions coming on how to set it all up.

Looks like you won't be having anymore trouble with Ladders anymore, either, and you'll be able to sell off scrap much faster! Because who has time to wait around all day for a scrap-eating, biomechanical interdimensional cosmological horror to show up, anyway? Not me!

Did a hoarder bug just steal that special piece of scrap you needed to bring back? Be sure to tell it EXACTLY how you feel!

You can now shove your friends straight out of harm's way! Just think of how many scenarios could've ended differently if you-

...Who am I kidding, you'll just use it to shove your friends into quicksand or the waters of March, won't you? Oh well.

The next update will focus on adding and tweaking suits and accessories: Different prices, particle effects and color schemes from the best the community has to offer so you can be the fanciest Contractor in the whole planetary cluster! Do keep in mind the updates might not happen sequentially, as another, different update could come after this.

V 1.1.16

Shelved ShipLobby and moved it to Optional Mods due to too many reports of game instability.

Curse of Sloth has been temporarily removed until a bug that makes curses persist after items are dropped (the curse can still be removed by placing the item in a cabinet) is fixed.

V 1.1.15

Fixed some configs not giving the correct amount of hotbar slots.

V 1.1.0: THE ARMS OF ARMAGEDDON UPDATE

Annihilation declares his day

Added two brand new weapons: The Shotgun (from Radsi2's Shotgun mod) INFO: A scrap salvage shotgun sold to you at an eye-gouging price. It can't hit the broadside of a barn past a meter or two, but when it hits, it HURTS.

The Rocket Launcher (from Evaisa's Lethal Things and their wonderful new config release) INFO: You've finally got your hands on a weapon that doesn't tickle past hugging distance. Unfortunately, not only does it cost a hefty amount of scrap to sanction, you'll also have to give it back to the Company after you've expended all four of it's shots...

...Bastards.

Added Lategame Upgrades (by malco) INFO: An amazing mod that just had a config release! Rejoice! I was privately testing this for a while by changing the values in the .dll a bunch. Well, not anymore, it seems, and I'm shipping out the settings I've settled on the most. You'll be able to see all of these changes in the guide below.

Added Weathermultipliers (by Blorb) INFO: Another excellent mod that increases the value of scrap found on weather plagued moons, increasing in value by general weather difficulty (from Rainy to Eclipsed).

Added Terminalextras (by anormaltwig) INFO: A simple but great mod that lets you toggle the lights, door and teleporter through the terminal.

Made large adjustments to StrangeObjects (by togglemybits) INFO: I didn't like the way cursed scrap behaved. Even when I made it less common, the effects were still generally too annoying to be worth dealing with. Now, due to an update, the effects no longer persist after the scrap has been dropped! In addition to this, I've made these MUCH rarer, but also much more valuable.

...Heh, if you find a Cursed Cash Register on an Eclipsed Titan, do share the screenshot with me! ^^

Report any bugs if you encounter them.

Patches without notes are usually minor formatting or styling fixes.

Welcome to Atelier Company! We wish you a pleasant stay.

As one of our most promising contractors, you will now be prompted to choose between one of three planetary clusters that inhabit the solar system you currently reside in. Be sure to take the overall Hazard level of each cluster into great consideration.

We recommend you think wisely, and choose the configuration that most adequately fits your experience and abilities.

And, as always, we wish you good luck and prosperity on your quota!

DIFFICULTY LEVELS

PLANETARY CLUSTER - TRAXIS A - HAZARD LEVEL: D
Info:
  • A planetary cluster noted mainly for its low gravitational force.
  • Contractors will find that they can carry more items, traverse the terrain easier and tire less. Furthermore, the effect of gravitational time dilation tends to fall in the Contractor's favor.
  • Contractors will notice that the passage of time on this cluster's moons is much slower than usual. Low levels of electromagnetic radiation also allow for the usage of on-suit GPS modules, greatly enhancing the navigation abilities of a contractor exploring the many compounds found on these moons.
  • Quotas on this configuration tend to be lax, as Contractors tend to be given many days to reach the company deadline. An excellent training cluster for rookies, but don't expect any grand promotions from your work.
PLANETARY CLUSTER - VILJA 4B - HAZARD LEVEL: B
Info:
  • A biodiverse cluster that is otherwise unnoteworthy. Many of its moons are tidal-locked; Contractors traveling to this cluster are provided with a dedicated ATV-SPACESUIT flashlight module and modified footwear.
  • The footwear has been modified to create an exergonic reaction with the moons' surfaces allowing for easier navigation.
  • Electromagnetic currents prevent the usage of on-suit GPS modules that TRAXIS-A Contractors may be used to. The Gravitational force encountered on these moons is bog-standard and falls within general cluster parameters, and so no special conditions are to be expected.
  • Quotas on this configuration are company standard, Contractors will be given more and more days as the company deadline increases. Most of our Contractors can be found orbiting this cluster.
PLANETARY CLUSTER - SERVAL B2C - HAZARD LEVEL: S

Info:

  • An extremely dangerous cluster, frequented only by hardened, disciplined and experienced Contractors. A strong gravitational force is to be expected on most of this cluster's moons, causing time to flow faster and making traversal slightly more cubersome.

  • In-compound traversal on these moons is extremely difficult; only company-issued body cameras seem to work efficiently. The ship's weather sensors cannot accurately pick up weather due to strong electromagnetic currents either.

  • Quotas on this configuration are heightened; the equipment used to merely survive on the surface of one of these moons is highly expensive. Contractor casualties are often added to the quota themselves. Expect fewer increases in deadline as the days go by.

  • Fortunately, Contractors do have two boons going for them in this configuration:

    • Due to low demand, the most lucrative moons of the cluster are extremely cheap to travel to.
    • An onboard threat scanner has been added and sanctioned, as these moons are extremely dangerous.

Choose your configuration

Begin by choosing the configuration that you want and the amount of players you'll be playing with:

  1. PLANETARY CLUSTER - TRAXIS A - HAZARD LEVEL: D (Easy difficulty)

  2. PLANTERARY CLUSTER - VILJA 4B - HAZARD LEVEL: B (Normal difficulty - the most playtested and recommended setting.)

  3. PLANETARY CLUSTER - SERVAL B2C - HAZARD LEVEL: S (Hardcore difficulty - be wary that this is the LEAST playtested difficulty of the three as it was mostly tested on Quad configuration. Playtesters wanted!)

Once you have chosen your configuration, continue on to installation.

Installation Guide

  1. Download the r2modmanager
  2. Open the mod manager
  3. On profile selection, press 'Import/Update'. Select 'Import new profile', unless you are updating.
  4. Import the modlist from the file you selected
  5. Let it download and do not close the mod manager
  6. Press 'Start modded' to play the modlist
  7. Optional (suit selection is being overhauled) Navigate to ".../BepInEx/plugins/x753-More_Suits/moresuits" from your mod manager. Press 'Settings', then 'Browse data folder', and go into your Lethal Company profile. Delete the 'suits' folder, and replace it with this one
  8. Be careful updating the mods if it asks you to, as of now some may break. It is safe to try, though, as you can easily downgrade them by selecting the old version upon installation
  9. Reinstall every major update to ensure everything works as intended! You can opt not to reinstall between minor updates, but it might cause you to miss out on a bug fix or two. Should still be no biggie ^^
  10. Enjoy!

Adding Custom Content

guide

1) Custom Boombox tracks

Navigate to BepInEx\Custom Songs\Boombox Music from here and drop your own tunes in! Supports WAV, OGG and MP3.

2) Custom Posters

Same method as before, but navigate to BepInEx/plugins/LethalPosters/posters/ and BepInEx/plugins/LethalPosters/tips/, depending on which poster you want replaced. Add your own images in and they will be randomly cycled as you play the game.

3) Custom Paintings

Navigate to BepInEx/plugins/LethalPaintings/paintings/ and place your images of choice here.

4) Custom Suits?

The modlist will have its own externally provided custom content list added later. Please, don't upload any of your custom music/painting/poster packages onto Thunderstore if you can help it ^^

Your Letalis usage manual

Our company's most successful and daring Contractors like to claim that luck correlates with skill; regardless of whether you agree with them or not, it is undeniable that a well-trained and well-disciplined employee has a far higher likelihood of avoiding workplace accidents and reaching greater heights on the company ladder. This short manual will teach you how to use the company-issued gadgets and tools you are provided with to their greatest efficiency.

Important: type 'lategame store' to access upgrades

Enemies (NEW)
**The Boomba**
- The Boomba is a combination between a roomba and a bomb. Not much else needs to be said on how it operates...
- Is kind of stupid but be careful of collateral damage when other enemies are around.

**The Mimic**
- The Mimic is [REDACTED], oftentimes when you are [DATA EXPUNGED] it will pop up and [REDACTED].
- It can be avoided through the telltale sign of [REDACTED].

Armaments

The Shotgun

- The shotgun is an extremely powerful and expensive weapon.
- It can kill most enemies in two shots and can be recharged, but has an extremely large spread.
- It can kill Eyeless Dogs in about 3-5 shots, requires some matadoring
- Extremely ineffective against Hoarding bugs as they are too small/agile to hit.
- Generally, the larger the target, the further you can shoot it from without missing a ton of pellets.

The Rocket Launcher

- Extremely powerful with great range and AOE damage.
- The catch is that it becomes worthless after all four shots are expended, and it's relatively costly.
- Great panic weapon for an eyeless dog or if you just want to make a hoarder bug nest wish they were never born.

Malware Broadcaster

- The cameraman gets to have a bodycount too! An EXTREMELY expensive upgrade that lets you **destroy** turrets and landmines.
- Remote detonate mines and blast those Thumpers to bits
- Installed on drop pod interaction.

The Discombobulator

- An expensive ship upgrade that deploys a 2:30 minute stun to enemies around the ship.
- Has a 10 minute cooldown, extremely useful on Eclipsed moons!
- Enter ~~~inittack~~~ into the terminal to stun enemies around the ship
- Enter ~~~cooldown~~~ to view cooldown
- Attracts enemies
Utilities

Portable Teleporter

- Teleports you back to your ship, keeping all of your items in the process
- 90% chance to break.

Advanced Teleporter

- Teleports you back to your ship, keeping all of your items in the process
- Cannot break
- EXTREMELY expensive as it is an extremely powerful tool.
Upgrades

Better Scanner

- Drastically increases the distance at which you can ping the ship and entrance
- Line of sight is not needed for pings
- Increases distance of all pings
- Essential for some foggy moons!

Bee Keeper

- Bees do no damage to you.

Bigger Lungs

- Significantly increased sprint duration

Running Shoes

- Significantly increased movement speed

Strong legs

- Increased jump height

Light Footed

- Reduces the noise radius of your footsteps

Night Vision

- Press alt to toggle
- Battery recharges by itself
Equipment

Walkie Talkies

- Walkies can be quickly used by pressing the 'R' key.
- Hazard level D (Easy difficulty) provides you with a reserved slot.

Flashlights

- Flashlights can be quickly used by pressing the 'F' key, even whilst holding items.
- All difficulty levels provide you with a reserved slot.
- Flashlight batteries drain slightly slower on Hazard level D (Easy difficulty)

Pinging

- Press 'Q' to send a ping to your teammates, highlighting specific locations, items, or enemies.
- Signify Danger: Signify Danger by double-tapping 'Q' and letting your allies know there is danger nearby.
- View Pings: Use 'Mouse2' or the special scan mechanic to view both your own and other players' pings.

The Terminal

- Teleporter quick access (type tp in the terminal to teleport them)
- The scan command can be used for monitoring threats on Hardcore difficulty

Hotbar

- Swapping between items via number keys is now possible.
- The swap delay has been removed.
- Many of the item related delays such as item swapping, discarding, interacting, activating items have had their speed increased, allowing for a much smoother gameplay experience.

Teleporter

- Inverse teleporter cooldown reduced. Inverse teleporter no longer drops items, while the regular teleporter functions as normal.

Other

Lobby

- Players can now join while you are in orbit after starting a mission. No need to re-make the lobby.
- Type '/restart' into the chat to quickly restart your playthrough, skipping the ejection sequence.

General UI

- Adjust your FOV to your liking by typing '/fov # (# being a value between 66 and 130)'
- '/toggleVisor' can be used to toggle the visibility of the first person visor

Deadline

- The deadline will dynamically increase with the quota.
- Hazard level D (Easy) provides the most lenient increase.
- Hazard level S (Hardcore) provides the least, and Hazard B (Normal) sits somewhere in the middle.
- There are four seperate configurations for Deadline difficulty in this modlist based on playercount, from solo to four man.

Cursed Possessions

- A new rarity of scrap items has appeared!
- Worth more than their normal counterparts, yet incredibly rare, these items come with some risky side effects...
- Strange objects are worth over 90% more scrap than normal scrap items
- Strange objects can be identified by their red enemy-like color in scans
- There are 3 possible negative effects:
	- Curse of Pain: Damages the player slightly
	- Curse of Sight: Makes the player a lil tipsy
	- Curse of Sound: Makes other players harder to hear
	- Curse of Midas: The item changes value everytime you pick it up.
- Negative effects are removed at the end of a round
- Negative effects can stack if you pick up more than one strange object so be careful!
- Multiple players can get the same negative effect from picking up the same item

Potential Issues

None as of this update.

Accessibility

Arachnophobia Mode

This mod simply removes spiders from the game, for people who struggle with Arachnophobia. While this does make the game slightly easier (the removal of a potential threat), I think the pros outweigh the cons overall for those who have a phobia of spiders. Will be replaced by an enemy/enemy model replacer mod if one is available.

Sprint Toggle

Quite self explanatory. Install this if you prefer your sprint to be on toggle instead of hold or have finger cramp issues.

Subtitles

Excellent if you are hard of hearing or just like subtitles. Adds subtitles to annotate many of the game's sounds.

Optional Mods

ShipLobby

WARNING

A mod that allows players to join in orbit mid-round instead of having to remake the lobby. The reason it's Optional is because I've had numerous reports of instability issues including desync and not being able to respawn after death. Use this at your own risk.

MoreCompany

While the modpack is primarily balanced around four or less players, I still encourage you to play with more than that if you want to. While the experience will be less balanced, I may be able to create a configuration for a greater number of players if it is playtested enough.

Ultrawide Support

This mod adds Ultrawide support to the game. Install if you have an Ultrawide monitor.

HD Lethal Company

Increases visual fidelity of Lethal Company and adds graphics configuration options. Personal preference, on here in case anyone gets a headache or other issues from the general graininess of the game, or they prefer better visual fidelity.

Hide Player Names

A nice little mod that increases your immersion. It's in the optional category because it leans more on the personal preference side of things; I can easily see something like this being annoying for some people.

Configuration Manager

A mod that lets you easily edit all of the list's config files in-game by pressing F1. Good if you feel like you think something needs a slight tweak.

Simply search these up in the mod manager and install them to add them to the modlist.

Additional help & links

If you have any inquiries, contact me at my Discord here. I'd be grateful for any bug reports, playtesting reports or suggestions you may have for the modlist. Some of the configurations could use more testing, namely the hardcore ones.

If you would like to support me, you can support me on my Patreon. With your support, I can work on and update this modlist faster, and I might even be able to commission mods for it in the future. I'd like to branch out and create configured modlists for other games in the future, as well. I'm open to suggestions.

Best of luck to you out there on the moons!
