Welcome to Version 1.1 of the Seras Squad Modpack, diligently developed by Flame and Sera for Sera's Server and its community. This release heralds the first stable version, advancing from a comprehensive period of playtesting and debugging.
Important Mod Information
- Customized Coroner Mod: We've tailored the "Coroner" mod to function independently of LC_API, mitigating previous issues. This custom version still offers enhanced and accurate death messages, contributing to a richer gameplay experience.
- User Experimentation with LC_API: Users interested in technical customization are encouraged to experiment with LC_API. It can potentially enhance the Coroner mod’s death messages.
- Future Plans for LC_API: Our team is considering the reintroduction of LC_API in future updates, pending extensive testing and assurance of its stable integration.
Performance and Customization
- Initial Loading Time: Please anticipate a longer startup time due to the modpack's extensive content. This delay is typical for a modpack of this scale.
- Optimization Tips: Adjusting graphics settings in "Sligili-HDLethalCompany" or disabling resource-heavy mods like Skinwalker or Lethal Expansion can help improve performance.
Personalizing Your Experience
- Config Customization: We encourage you to adjust the modpack's settings to your liking. The design supports a variety of customization options.
- Adding Client-Side Mods: You're free to enhance your experience with client-side mods such as GokuBracken or FreddyBracken. These mods do not require installation by all server participants.
Starting Fresh
- New Save File Recommendation: For the best experience and to prevent compatibility issues, start with a new save file. Older saves might lead to conflicts with the current mods and may lead to corruption of your save files.
