BetterThanDefault Modpack
A modpack focused on staying true to the game, whilst improving quality of life and overall fun. Including small tweaks to remove common annoyances and bugs, so expect a similar level of difficulty.
IMPORTANT: When this pack updates, create a new profile in your mod manager and install the modpack again. (As any mods removed from the pack can't be removed with an update).
I'm frequently reviewing mods I've added and only keeping ones I believe are essential or add enough to the the overall gameplay experience. I also monitor updates to every mod, removing any that break or conflict, and modifying their configuration to get the best out of them. And ensuring nothing added feels too cheaty or makes the game too much easier than originally intended.
Configs
This pack contains a number of modified configs, set to provide the best experience with their respective mods. Only changed configs are included.

How to install?
Everything is done automatically, you'll just need a mod manager and you can download the modpack from there!
- Download and install the 'r2modman' mods manager.
- Run the mod manager, find and select 'Lethal Company' as your default game.
- Create a new profile (name can be anything).
- Go to the '🌐Online' section, search for 'BetterThanDefault'.
- Download the modpack, wait for the mods to show in the '📁Installed' section.
- Update any mods if required, wait for this process to finish.
- Run the game once, selecting '▶️Start modded' each time (creates config files on first launch).
- Close it and reopen. Done!
Important notes!
- Every time you want to play with the modpack, you'll need to start the game from this profile and select '▶️Start modded'.
- When this pack updates, (repeat steps 3-8) delete the original profile, creating a new profile in your mod manager and install the modpack again. (As any mods removed from the pack can't be removed with an update).
