Beehives on the five moons that never get them. Bees are added to the game's own daytime creature list at a percentage you set per moon; every spawn decision after that stays vanilla. Host-only.
First release. Beehives become possible on the five vanilla moons that never get them —
Offense, Rend, Dine, Titan and Embrion — and on any modded moon without bees.
Each of those moons gets its own percentage in the config, rolled once per landing off the
map seed. 0 leaves a moon exactly as vanilla shipped it.
Everything after the roll is the game's own: bees are added to the moon's daytime creature
list and the vanilla spawner decides whether they turn up, how many, at what hour, where they
land and what the hive is worth.
Titan and Dine run no daytime creatures at all in vanilla, so they are lent the pacing of a
moon that does. Their hive count is capped by MaxHivesOnWokenMoons (default 1), because bees
are the only daytime creature there and nothing competes for the slots.
The six moons that already have bees are untouched by default, with a weight override in a
separate config list for anyone who wants one.
DebugMode prints every moon's vanilla weight and the swarm's own power cost and spawn cap,
so the real numbers can be read off before changing anything.
Host-only: clients do not need the mod.
