LethalBotsCommands

Chat and voice commands for your LethalBots, built to line up with the command wheel so both work the same way.

Type a command in chat or say it out loud. The bot you are looking at responds. If you are not aiming at a bot, the nearest one in range takes it. Name a bot to send it to that bot specifically, or say all to send it to every bot.

Commands

• follow / follow me - the bot groups up and follows you.
• lead the way / leadway - the bot leaves your group and goes off looking for scrap.
• report - the bot reads out the total scrap value on the ship and your quota progress.
• regroup / group - the bot teleports to you.
• transfer - the bot hands the loot it is carrying over to the ship.
• loadout / gear - the bot goes and grabs its saved loadout.
• wait / hold / stay - the bot holds its position.
• collect - the bot goes to grab the delivery from the dropship, then returns to what it was doing.
• takeoff / take off / launch / leave - a bot starts the ship.

If a command cannot run (the bot is manning the terminal, is too far away, or you have no bots out), a short message tells you why instead of failing silently.

Range and walkie-talkies

By default only bots within RangeMeters hear you. Hold an active walkie-talkie, and any bot that is also carrying one hears you from any distance, so you can command bots over the radio. Turn RequireRange off to let every bot respond no matter how far away it is.

When a bot you commanded is out of earshot (or on the other side of an entrance) and both of you are holding a walkie, its spoken reply comes through over your radio, so long-range orders feel like real radio traffic. When the bot is close enough to hear directly, you just get its normal voice with no radio echo. EarshotMeters sets where that line is drawn.

Following

A following bot paths back to you instead of instantly teleporting, up to FollowPathfindMaxDistance. Past that it teleport-catches-up so a bot deep in the facility still reaches you. Call a bot to follow from the other side of an entrance and it walks to the nearest exit, goes through it, and paths to you, rather than teleporting onto you.

Config

• Enabled - master switch for all chat and voice commands.
• RequireRange - if on, only bots within RangeMeters respond. Off means any distance.
• RangeMeters - how close (metres) a bot must be to respond when RequireRange is on. Default 25.
• WalkieRange - if on, a bot hears you from any distance when you and that bot both hold a walkie-talkie.
• WalkieResponse - when a command reaches a bot only over the walkie, the bot keys up its radio so you hear the reply over your own walkie. Off keeps the reply as chat text only.
• EarshotMeters - within this many metres a bot is in genuine earshot, so its reply plays as a normal voice with no radio echo. Only past this distance does a reply come over the radio. Default 25.
• FollowPathfindsInsteadOfTeleporting - a following bot paths back to you instead of teleporting, up to the distance below.
• FollowPathfindMaxDistance - how far (metres) a following bot will path to reach you before it teleport-catches-up instead. Default 60.
• ImmersiveFollowAcrossEntrances - call a bot to follow from the other side of an entrance and it walks out through the entrance and paths to you instead of teleporting.
• Follow / LeadWay / Report / Loadout / Transfer / Regroup / Wait / Collect / TakeOff - enable or disable each command.
