More Skill Trees

BepInEx mod for Mycopunk that adds employee-style skill trees to weapons and throwables. Spend shared skill points to unlock upgrades; weapon level-ups grant skill points.

Features

• Per-weapon skill trees laid out in a hex spiral (center → outward)

• Layers by rarity (shared SP spend gates):

  • Standard: 0 total skill points spent
  • Rare: 2 total spent
  • Epic: 7 total spent
  • Exotic: 12 total spent
  • Oddity / Contraband: 17 total spent

• Shared skill points with employee trees (SkillPointResource)

• Weapon level-ups grant skill points using the same formula as employees:

  • +1 SP per level-up at weapon level ≤ 10
  • +2 SP per level-up after level 10

• Unlock = collect + unlock into inventory (still equip on the hex grid)

• Already-owned upgrades show as claimed at no cost

• Loot still drops normally; the tree is an alternate unlock path

• Open from Gear Details via the skill tree button (same control as characters)

• Vanilla-style skill tree window (cloned employee shell):

  • Bottom bar lists other gear in the same slot type (primary / grenade / heavy)
  • Nodes use real skill-tree chrome (icon, rarity, hover tooltip, hold-to-unlock)

• Unmatched upgrade names are logged as warnings at runtime
