Jinx no longer wastes its hex on one the target already has: it picks among the hexes the target is missing.Features
Jinx inflicts one of five hexes at random: Scorched, Chill, Doom, Curse or Haunted. In vanilla, the draw ignores what the target already suffers from, so a second Jinx often lands a hex that is already there and only refreshes it.
With Jinx It, Jinx picks among the hexes the target does not have yet, each with the same chance. When the target already has all five, the draw is vanilla's (any of the five).
This mod makes the game easier.
Beware, ease is a close friend of boredom.
Compatibility
- Only the choice of the hex changes: Jinx's cost, cooldown, chance to apply, projectile and effects are untouched.
- In vanilla, Jinx is the only source of this random hex effect (
AddStatusEffectRandom). A skill added by another mod that uses the same effect follows the same rule.
