A flag-capture survival mode for PEAK. Plant flags across the mountain, claim segments, and compete for points — supports both PvP and PvE rule sets.
⚠️ This is the initial release (v0.0.1). Feedback is welcome.
Features
- Flag capture system — collect and consume flags scattered across the map
- Per-segment scoring — points scale with segment difficulty and flag spacing
- PvP / PvE separation — independent ownership rules for competitive and cooperative play
- Segmented flag distribution — flags are placed using biome-aware segment logic
- Multiplayer-aware HUD — flag count UI synced across all clients
- Configurable — flag radius, point base, gap coefficient, bulk count and more (see config)
Installation
Mod Manager (recommended)
- Install r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager
- Search for FlagSurvival in the PEAK community
- Click Install — BepInEx pack will be installed automatically
Manual
- Install BepInExPack PEAK
- Run PEAK once and exit (this generates the
BepInEx/pluginsfolder) - Place
FlagSurvival.dllinto<Steam>/steamapps/common/PEAK/BepInEx/plugins/ - Launch the game
How to play
- Host a lobby with FlagSurvival installed (only the host needs the mod)
- Climb the mountain — flags spawn at predetermined segments
- Consume a flag to claim points; rules differ between PvP and PvE
- Reach the summit with the highest score
Configuration
After running the game once, edit:
<Steam>/steamapps/common/PEAK/BepInEx/config/com.sol.peak.flagsurvival.cfg
Key options include flag visual scale/color, flag radius, point base, target flag count, and bulk flag spacing.
Compatibility
- PEAK — current Steam version
- BepInEx — 5.4.23.3 (via BepInExPack PEAK 5.4.75301)
- Host-side mod: only the host needs to have it installed for the lobby to use FlagSurvival rules.
