Adds new relics, orbs, mechanics, and more!

There are many new features added to the mod, some of which will change how you play the game!

Relics

There are a total of 49 Relics, some of which revolve around rest sites.

Common

Weirdly Round Rock
  • Increases all combat healing by 3 HP.
Sleeping Bag
  • Allows you to rest at rest sites, granting you +5 Max HP.
  • Also gives you +10 Max HP
Slime-Soaked Bandages
  • Instead of healing for 15% at rest sites, you now heal for 25%.
Broken Glasses
  • Every turn, apply 3 Blind to enemies.
Match Box
  • Guarentees an extra 2 rest sites per act.
Leftovers
  • Heal 6 HP post-battle.
Eternal Feather
  • When entering a rest site, heal 1 HP per orb in your deck.
Demonic Altar
  • Grants a +10% multiplicative damage boost per Curse in your deck.
Backpack
  • Higher-levelled orbs appear first when shuffling your deck.

Rare

Dusty Router
  • Introduces lag into the game.
Shard of Glass
  • Every 15+5n pegs hit in a single turn will grant +1 pierce.
Silver Bullet
  • Every 10+5n pegs hit in a single turn will grant a 25% multiplicative damage bonus.
  • Orbs cannot pierce nor overflow.
Broken Watch
  • Every second, grant a 5% multiplicative damage bonus and a 10% multiplicative increase in gravity.
Sturdy Shovel
  • Allows you to dig at rest sites, giving you a random Relic.
  • There is a 25% chance the relic is a rare Relic.
Dunce Cap
  • Allows you to forget at rest sites, allowing you to remove an orb.
Orb-on-a-Stick
  • Every 15+10n pegs hit in a single turn will refresh the board.
Joja Cola
  • Enemies lose their every other turn.
Crowbar
  • Enemies above 90% health take 75% more damage.
Megaphone
  • Orbs pierce an unlimited amount of times, but deal 50% less damage for each enemy hit.
Remote Detonator
  • Allows you to detonate the orb, exploding all pegs and bombs around it.
Ring of Binding
  • Increases damage by 25%.
  • Grants 3 Curses upon pickup.
Peg Freezer
  • Allows you to detonate the orb, freezing all nearby pegs for 2 turns.
  • Can only be used once a reload.
Charm of the Vampire
  • Every time you kill an enemy, gain 1 Max HP.
The Battery
  • Gain a permanent +1 damage for each enemy killed.
Duck Journal
  • Speeds the ball up.
  • Gives a 25% chance to replace orb rewards with Bonus Ducks.
Cowboy Hat
  • Damage taken is delayed by one turn.
  • If the battle finishes before damage is dealt, the damage goes away.
  • Also prevents post-battle damage.
Stone Egg
  • Upgrades orbs upon picking them up.
Dynamite
  • Upon killing an enemy, deal 25% of their Max HP to all other enemies.
Heart Necklace
  • Shots fired when at or above 90% health deal double damage
Raffle Ticket
  • Your next 3 shop items are free.
Twig
  • You can use two rest site options per rest site.

Shop

Ancient Pickaxe
  • Allows you to mine at rest sites, granting 25-75 Gold.
Golden Piggy Bank
  • Allows you to invest at rest sites, investing 5 gold. You can do this an unlimited number of times.
  • At the end of every battle, gain 1 gold for each 5 gold invested.
Membership Card
  • Items in shops are 20% cheaper.
  • Guarentees a rare Relic spawns in shops.
Lucky Coin
  • Guarentees an extra 2 shops spawn per act.
Counterfeit Dollar
  • Healing post-battle is free, but heals 30% less.
Golden Bullet
  • Deal 1 extra damage for each 3 gold you have.
Gilded Flame
  • Rest site options can be used an unlimited amount of times, but costs gold.
  • Bandage - 25 Gold.
  • Rest - 25 Gold.
  • Smith - 25 Gold.
  • Dig - 50 Gold.
  • Mine - 60 Gold.
  • Forget - 30 Gold.
Midas' Glove
  • Gain 3 gold when killing an enemy.
Gold-Plated Peg
  • Refresh orbs refresh half the lost gold.
Golden Hourglass
  • Beating a battle within 5 turns rewards 25 gold.
Coin-on-a-String
  • The shop removal service can be used an unlimited amount of times.
Capsule Machine
  • Grants a random, temporary Capsule at the beginning of every combat.
  • Capsules last only until the end of combat.
  • Capsule - Gold (50%)
  • Capsule - Health (45%)
  • Capsule - Relic (5%)
Golden Peg
  • Adds anywhere from 5-10 gold to a random peg each battle.
Gold Peg
  • You can buy unlimited items in shops.
  • Relics generated this way stay in the same pool as before.

Boss

Ring of Poly
  • 100% Damage up.
  • Enemies take twice the amount of turns.
  • Grants orbs overflow.
Geode Fragment
  • On hitting a crit peg, splits the orb into smaller fragments.
  • Can only split the orb 3 times in a single turn.
  • Reduces damage by 15%.
Broken Excalibur
  • Reduces damage by 30%.
  • Generates a special node in future acts.
Gilded Cross
  • One-time revive to 50% Max HP.
  • Cannot prevent insta-kills.
Forgotten Altar
  • Upgrades all currently held orbs to their max.
Golden Altar
  • Gives you 300 Gold.

Special

Excalibur
  • Increases damage by 25%.
  • Grants orbs unlimited piercing.

  • Deal 10% less damage.
  • Deal 1.5% more damage for each Curse in your deck.

  • You can no longer discard orbs.

  • Orbs cannot pierce nor overflow.
Confusion (5/5)
  • Applies 2 Confusion upon battle start.
Frail (5/5)
  • Take 10% more damage.
  • Take 1.5% less damage for each Curse in your deck.
Damage (5/5)
  • Take 3 damage every time you fire or discard a curse.
  • Take 1 less damage for every two curses in your deck.
Persist (3/3)
  • Curses gain +1 persist.
  • Curses can no longer be discarded.
Health (3/3)
  • Heal 6 HP less in combat.
  • Heal 1 HP more for each curse in your deck.
  • Healing cannot go into the negatives.
Heavy (3/3)
  • Increases gravity by 30%.
  • Decreases gravity by 5% for each curse in your deck.
Small (3/3)
  • Decreases ball size by 30%.
  • Increases ball size by 5% for each curse in your deck.
Max Health (5/5)
  • At the end of each battle, lose 3 Max HP.
  • Gain 1 Max HP for every 2 curses in your deck.
Hoarding (3/3)
  • 1.5% chance to replace new orb rewards with curses for each curse in your deck.

  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -3/-3.
Lvl2 (15/20)
  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -2/-2.

  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -1/-1.

Misc

Marshmallorb (1/2)
  • Upon dealing 50 damage, heals user to full HP.
  • Does no damage.
  • Removes itself from deck on use.
Bonus Duck (3/4)
  • Gives other Bonus Ducks +1/+2.

Capsules

Capsule - Health (1/2)
  • Breaks after 25 pegs are hit in a single turn.
  • When broken, heals the user for 15 HP.
  • Removed at the end of combat.
Capsule - Gold (1/2)
  • Breaks after 25 pegs are hit in a single turn.
  • When broken, grants the user 15 gold.
  • Removed at the end of combat.
Capsule - Relic (1/2)
  • Breaks after 50 pegs are hit in a single turn.
  • When broken, grants the user a random relic.
  • Relics have a 25% chance of being rare.
  • Removed at the end of combat.

Events

Cursed Altar
  • Gives you the option to either replace one of your orbs with curses or all of them.

Nodes

There are a total of two new nodes, however one of them can only generate in certain circumstances.

Regular

Rest Sites
  • Guarenteed spawn before boss.
  • A minimum of one extra rest site spawns per act.
  • Defaultly allows you to heal for 15% Max HP OR upgrade an orb.
  • 5% chance to give you a Marshmallorb when entering.

Special

Forge
  • Spawns only when carrying Broken Excalibur.
  • Allows you to upgrade an orb, fix the Excalibur, OR repurpose the Excalibur.
  • Fixing the Broken Excalibur grants you the regular Excalibur.
  • Repurposing the Broken Excalibur grants you the Excaliborb.

Planned Updates

Of course, this will not be the only build publically available. I plan to continue to update this mod going forward!

Poison

Have you ever wanted to deal damage over time? No? Well someday you'll be able to anyways! Will come with multiple relics and orbs that interact with poison (maybe even curses, too!)

Events

Once you've experienced all the events, it gets relatively repetitive. More events should spice things up!

Debuffs

There are barely any debuffs in this game. There needs to be moooooar!

More Relics, Orbs, and Curses

This part is obvious, but still nevertheless will be coming in the future.

Major Known Issues

  • The detonation orb and relics don't have any animations.
  • The detonators don't work on controller
  • Restock can generate multiple of the same relic. Buying said relic doesn't give you anything, but still takes your money.
