Adds new relics, orbs, mechanics, and more!

Features

There are many new features added to the mod, some of which will change how you play the game!

Relics

There are a total of 29 Relics, 6 of them revolving around rest sites.

Common

Weirdly Round Rock
  • Increases all combat healing by 3 HP.
Sleeping Bag
  • Allows you to rest at rest sites, granting you +5 Max HP.
Slime-Soaked Bandages
  • Instead of healing for 15% at rest sites, you now heal for 25%.
Broken Glasses
  • Every turn, apply 3 Blind to enemies.
Match Box
  • Guarentees an extra 2 rest sites per act.
Leftovers
  • Heal 6 HP post-battle.
Eternal Feather
  • When entering a rest site, heal 1 HP per orb in your deck.
Demonic Altar
  • Grants a +10% multiplicative damage boost per Curse in your deck.

Rare

Dusty Router
  • Introduces lag into the game.
Golden Bullet
  • Every 15+5n pegs hit in a single turn will grant +1 pierce.
Silver Bullet
  • Every 10+5n pegs hit in a single turn will grant a 25% multiplicative damage bonus.
  • Orbs cannot pierce nor overflow.
Broken Watch
  • Every second, grant a 5% multiplicative damage bonus and a 10% multiplicative increase in gravity.
Sturdy Shovel
  • Allows you to dig at rest sites, giving you a random Relic.
  • There is a 25% chance the relic is a rare Relic.
Dunce Cap
  • Allows you to forget at rest sites, allowing you to remove an orb.
Orb-on-a-Stick
  • Every 15+10n pegs hit in a single turn will refresh the board.
Joja Cola
  • Enemies lose their every other turn.
Crowbar
  • Enemies above 90% health take 75% more damage.
Megaphone
  • Orbs pierce an unlimited amount of times, but deal 50% less damage for each enemy hit.
Remote Detonator
  • Allows you to detonate the orb, exploding all pegs and bombs around it.
Ring of Binding
  • Increases damage by 25%.
  • Grants 3 Curses upon pickup.
Peg Freezer
  • Allows you to detonate the orb, freezing all nearby pegs for 2 turns.
  • Can only be used once a reload.
Charm of the Vampire
  • Every time you kill an enemy, gain 1 Max HP.

Boss

Ring of Poly
  • 100% Damage up.
  • Enemies take twice the amount of turns.
  • Grants orbs overflow.
Geode Fragment
  • On hitting a crit peg, splits the orb into smaller fragments.
  • Can only split the orb 3 times in a single turn.
  • Reduces damage by 15%.
Broken Excalibur
  • Reduces damage by 30%.
  • Generates a special node in future acts.
Gilded Cross
  • One-time revive to 50% Max HP.
  • Cannot prevent insta-kills.
Forgotten Altar
  • Upgrades all currently held orbs to their max.

Special

Excalibur
  • Increases damage by 25%.
  • Grants orbs unlimited piercing.

There are a total of 17 new Orbs, 13 of them are a new type, Curses.

Regular

Grenorb
Lvl1 (1/2)
  • Explodes after 5 seconds.
Lvl2 (2/3)
  • Explodes after 5 seconds.
Lvl3 (3/5)
  • Explodes after 5 seconds.
Blorb
Lvl1 (2/1)
  • Gets larger with every peg hit.
  • Starts out small.
Lvl2 (3/2)
  • Gets larger with every peg hit.
  • Starts out bigger.
Lvl3 (4/3)
  • Gets larger with every peg hit.
  • Starts out even BIGGER!

Curses

Downgrade (3/3)
  • Non-curses get -1/-1.
Upgrade (0/0)
  • Non-curses get -2/-2.
  • Curses get +2/+2.
  • Gets +2/+2 for each Curse in your deck.
Weak (3/3)
  • Deal 10% less damage.
  • Deal 1.5% more damage for each Curse in your deck.
Heavy Handed (3/3)
  • You can no longer discard orbs.
Single Target (3/3)
  • Orbs cannot pierce nor overflow.
Confusion (3/3)
  • Applies 2 Confusion upon battle start.
Frail (3/3)
  • Take 10% more damage.
  • Take 1.5% less damage for each Curse in your deck.
Damage (3/3)
  • Take 6 damage every time you fire or discard a curse.
  • Take 1 less damage for every curse in your deck.
Persist (3/3)
  • Curses gain +1 persist.
  • Curses can no longer be discarded.
Health (3/3)
  • Heal 6 HP less in combat.
  • Heal 1 HP more for each curse in your deck.
  • Healing cannot go into the negatives.
Heavy (3/3)
  • Increases gravity by 60%.
  • Decreases gravity by 10% for each curse in your deck.
Small (3/3)
  • Decreases ball size by 60%.
  • Increases ball size by 10% for each curse in your deck.
Max Health (3/3)
  • At the end of each battle, lose 3 Max HP.
  • Gain 1 Max HP for every 2 curses in your deck.

Special

Excaliborb
Lvl1 (15/20)
  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -3/-3.
Lvl2 (15/20)
  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -2/-2.
Lvl3 (15/20)
  • Pierces an unlimited amount of times.
  • Other orbs get -1/-1.

Marshmallorb

Lvl1 (1/2)
  • Upon dealing 50 damage, heals user to full HP.
  • Removes itself from deck on use.

Nodes

There are a total of two new nodes, however one of them can only generate in certain circumstances.

Regular

Rest Sites
  • Guarenteed spawn before boss.
  • A minimum of one extra rest site spawns per act.
  • Defaultly allows you to heal for 15% Max HP OR upgrade an orb.
  • 5% chance to give you a Marshmallorb when entering.

Special

Forge
  • Spawns only when carrying Broken Excalibur.
  • Allows you to upgrade an orb, fix the Excalibur, OR repurpose the Excalibur.
  • Fixing the Broken Excalibur grants you the regular Excalibur.
  • Repurposing the Broken Excalibur grants you the Excaliborb.

Planned Updates

Of course, this will not be the only build publically available. I plan to continue to update this mod going forward!

Poison

Have you ever wanted to deal damage over time? No? Well someday you'll be able to anyways! Will come with multiple relics and orbs that interact with poison (maybe even curses, too!)

Events

Once you've experienced all the events, it gets relatively repetitive. More events should spice things up!

Debuffs

There are barely any debuffs in this game. There needs to be moooooar!

More Relics, Orbs, and Curses

This part is obvious, but still nevertheless will be coming in the future.

Major Known Issues

  • The detonation orb and relics don't have any animations.
