Citizen File Popups

A BepInEx (mod loader) plugin for Shadows of Doubt. The citizen file popup now says what was added, not just that something was.

What it does

Whenever details land in a citizen file, the game only tells you that something was added. This mod adds one line to the popup that says what:

New in file: build, sex, hair, eyes, facial hair, shoe size (estimate), glasses, age group, height (estimate)

No more opening the file to see what you just learned.

Features

• Only what is new: each popup lists the details added since the last popup for that person
• No clutter: name variants and the identity pieces the popup already shows under "Linked to" are left out
• Readable labels: details are listed in plain words, such as "work hours", "phone number" or "shoe size (estimate)"
• Works with the base game, no other mods needed

Notes

• The mod starts fresh every time a city loads, so the first popup for a person in a session lists everything their file holds at that moment
• The game sometimes merges several updates for the same person into one popup. The line then covers all of them, which is why it says "New in file"

Config

After one launch, edit with the game closed:

Install

Thunderstore (the public SoD mod shop) plus BepInExPack IL2CPP. Enable this mod in your profile and launch from the manager. Close the game before editing the config file.
