QoL Adventure Server

The server-side companion to QoL Adventure. Install this on your dedicated server alongside the client pack on everyone's game.

Why a separate pack

Valheim runs a lot of gameplay logic (skills, carry weight, combat) on the connecting client, not the server — but most of these mods still need to be installed on the server too, either to enforce their locked config across every player or because they'd otherwise kick a client whose mod set doesn't match. A few mods in the client pack are pure client-side conveniences (a HUD clock, achievement unlocking, recipe markers) that do nothing on a headless server, so they're left out here to keep the server clean.

Left out of this pack (client-only)

• CraftMeOnce — author calls it "a client mod."
• AzuClock — pure HUD clock, no gameplay effect.
• Unshamed — author: "client side only, nothing syncs, nothing is needed on the server."
• ProximityVoiceChat — author: "the server does not need it."
• CraftFromContainers — no ServerSync/locked config in the mod's settings; purely local.

Installation

Install on your dedicated server's BepInEx plugins/config folders (or via a mod manager profile pointed at the server install). Every player also needs the QoL Adventure client pack — the two are meant to be used together, not standalone.

Config

Ships with the same config values as the client pack for every shared mod. Notable tuning:

Mod	Change
AdjustablePortals	Building-piece requirement to activate a portal turned off (EnablePortalPieceRequirements true → false). TeleportTamesMaxCount 5 → 3. Cart teleport turned off (EnableTeleportCarts true → false).
ImpactfulSkills	Hauling max carry-weight bonus at level 100 raised to 150 (default 50).
ImpactfulSkills	Swimming eased at low level: speed and stamina bonuses now scale from level 0 (SwimSpeedRequiredLevel 25 → 0, SwimStaminaReductionLevel 50 → 0), SwimSkillGainRate 1 → 1.5. Level-100 ceilings unchanged.
Fermenting	Exp Loss on death 0 → 5, matching Vitality/Dual Wield's default (SkillFloors already protects the permanent floor).
PortalMap	Enable portal browser panel turned off — the sidepanel has no English translation.
