This Utility Tweaks the existing Cloth Colliders of the player, and adds more so that the Head, Arms, Lower Legs, and Feet can now interact with capes and cloaks. With much needed tweaks there are now two sets of colliders, 1 for capes, and 1 for armor.

This mod is a compilation of the following individual mods:

  • Nightbound
  • Demon Hunter

It also introduces a massive new chain of armor sets and weapons for archers, crossbowmen, and assassins.

🚫 Do not use this mod at the same time as the standalone versions to avoid conflicts.


When moving from Nightbound or Demon Hunter to Hunter Legacy, please note:

  • Item IDs have changed.
  • To avoid losing valuable items, dismantle or recycle your old weapons first (via console commands or utility mods).

Hunter Legacy

Hunter Legacy follows a structured progression of hunter armor and weapons β€” starting in the Black Forest and advancing through each biome.
At the heart of this journey lies a full path for archers and crossbowmen, supported by dedicated crafting stations and equipment designed for ranged mastery.

Within the Core progression, armor sets are divided into two main paths:

  • Archer Sets β€” come in two subcategories:
    • Light-Medium β€” a classic approach, offering mobility, stamina efficiency, and speed.
    • Medium-Heavy Hybrids β€” providing stronger defense and survivability while still supporting ranged combat.

Each choice has its own advantages and drawbacks, depending on your playstyle.

A dedicated crafting station, the Hunter’s Table, enhanced by five unique extensions, is used to craft all new hunter equipment.

Alongside it stands the Munitions Bench, where arrows, bolts, throwing knives, and bombs are crafted.

Hunter Legacy introduces two distinct crafting paths for bows and crossbows:

  • 1️⃣ EVO Progression β€” to forge a new bow or crossbow, you must use the previous one as a core ingredient.

This creates a true evolution chain, where each weapon carries the legacy of the last and grows in power as you advance through the biomes.

Your starter bow or crossbow from the Black Forest can ultimately evolve into a mighty endgame weapon, keeping your journey consistent and rewarding.

  • 2️⃣ Classic Progression β€” alongside the EVO line, you can also craft independent bows and crossbows directly in each biome.
    These offer unique stats, appearances, and playstyles, giving you freedom of choice at every stage.

This dual system allows hunters to decide their path:

  • Commit to a single evolving weapon that grows stronger with you.
  • Or switch between biome-specific crafts, each providing a fresh identity and combat experience.

Both approaches remain balanced and meaningful, ensuring that every hunter can find their own way to master ranged combat.

Hunter Legacy expands the hunter’s arsenal with two full chains of throwing weapons β€” progressing through every metal in the game:

  • Throwing Knives β€” light and precise, dealing piercing damage with swift strikes.
  • Whirlstars β€” multi-blade projectiles, designed for devastating spinning throws that deal slashing damage.

Both chains follow the biome progression of bows and crossbows, giving hunters a lethal close-to-mid range option that evolves alongside their main arsenal.

🧩 Expansions

In parallel to the Core Lines of bows and crossbows, you’ll find a growing number of Assassin Expansions β€” armor sets and weapons designed for fast and stealthy melee-range combat, as well as weaponry that creates a completely new playstyle or serves as a powerful complement to your archer or crossbowman.

Current Expansions:

  • Silent Thorn β€” Black Forest set, light assassin gear built for early-game stealth and quick strikes.
  • Snow Talon β€” Mountain set, specialized for concealment in snowy terrain and precise ambush attacks.
  • Nocturne Blade β€” Mistlands set, late-game assassin armor focused on mobility and lethal shadow combat.

Assassin Expansions open an alternative path within the hunter’s legacy β€” blending ranged mastery with the art of close-range assassination.

🎯 Hunter Materials

  • Draw Lever – the starting component required to craft the first EVO crossbow.
  • Eternal Bowstring – the starting component required to craft the first EVO bow.
  • Coarse Thread – an early-game variant of linen thread, used in crafting armor and gear before reaching the Plains biome.

🧡 Refined Leathers

Hunter Legacy introduces a new chain of specially processed leathers, used to craft high-quality hunter gear.
Each step follows the natural progression of biomes, ensuring that your equipment evolves alongside the challenges you face:

  • Resined Leather β€” Deer hide treated with sticky resin to resist decay.
  • Greased Leather β€” Troll hide softened and preserved with animal fat.
  • Frosted Leather β€” Wolf hide hardened by exposure to the mountain frost.
  • Tarred Leather β€” Lox hide treated in boiling tar for greater toughness.
  • Sapped Leather β€” Scale hide tanned with sap from the Ancient Roots of Mistlands.
  • Charred Leather β€” Asksvin hide cured with charcoal resin, hardened through flame.
