DummySeals - Training Dummy

A buildable training dummy that trains your skills while you stand in front of it, even when you are away from the keyboard.

Install it on every client and server. The fuel is stored in the dummy in the world, so a dedicated server needs the mod as well.

What it does

Build DummySeals near a workbench (Hammer, Misc tab, made from the game's own Training Dummy), fuel it with rare materials, press Start and your character fights it on its own. Skills rise 50% faster than in a real fight, and nothing wears out.

• Attack or Block. Attack swings the weapon in your hand (the weapon's skill rises). Block raises the shield and blocks the dummy's own swings (the Blocking skill rises). Bows and crossbows shoot by themselves, with free ammunition.
• Fuel. 30 minutes at most of AFK training. The higher the tier of the material, the more minutes it gives (Surtling Core 2, Ectoplasm 3, Guck 3, Ruby 4, Amber Pearl 4, Flametal 5, Silver Necklace 5, Eitr 6, Black Core 7, Molten Core 9). The list is editable in the config.
• Safe training. The dummy swings at you, but its hits do no damage, push nothing and stagger nothing. Nobody can move you while you train. Durability of the weapon and the shield stays as it was.
• Stamina. The character swings until about 10% stamina is left, waits until it recovers, then goes on.
• Too far? If you press Start from a distance, the character walks up to the dummy first.
• Stop. Moving, Stop or running out of fuel ends the training. The minutes that are left stay in the dummy.
• One player trains on one dummy at a time. Build a second dummy for a friend.

Magic and tools do not train. Try it and you will hear about it.

Installation

• BepInExPack Valheim is required.
• r2modman: find AFK_Training_Dummy, Download with dependencies, Start modded. Manual: put TrainingDummy.dll into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/.
• Config: BepInEx/config/p0kahontazz.trainingdummy.cfg (materials and minutes, skill gain, stamina limits).
