Enigma Mode QoL is an immersive client-side modpack for Valheim 1.0: Deep North.
It is tuned for Enigma Mode, but works well as a light-quality-of-life profile for a regular Deep North playthrough too.
Prefer the full vanilla HUD? Disable ImmersiveHud_Fixed and keep the rest of the pack.
What the Pack Changes
Carry More, Manage Less
Dedicated equipment, food, ammunition, utility, miscellaneous, and quick-access slots keep the main inventory clearer. Nearby chests can supply crafting and building materials, while small interface improvements make routine play less fussy.
A Quieter, Cleaner Screen
The HUD hides elements until they matter. Large unlock notices can be dismissed or suppressed, chat is clearer and more configurable, and gamma controls make caves, storms, nights, and Deep North darkness easier to tune to your display.
Play Your Way
Switch to first person while exploring, sailing, building, or delving. Plant Everything extends the cultivator with Enigma-friendly planting options, including Ocean-biome planting.
More Atmosphere, Less Friction
The pack cleans the title screen, adds its Enigma presentation, and uses Expand World Music for its music configuration. FastLink can present configured community servers directly in Valheim's normal join interface.
Better Shared Play
Included networking support can improve synchronization and traffic handling on compatible servers. Discord Screenshots can send death screenshots to a webhook you configure. Achievement Enabler lets normal achievements continue to work while playing modded—without enabling achievements through cheats.
Enigma Mode and QoL Are Separate
The main Enigma Mode package adds the world and progression experience:
- Bosschests, open progression, and Dvergr services
- Enigma Paths, Rifts, Floating Islands, Arenas, and Townfall
- Reworked dungeons, creatures, locations, and Deep North content
Enigma Mode QoL does not add those systems. It is the optional client experience that sits alongside them.
Installation
Players
Install this Thunderstore profile on your Valheim client. It includes the required frameworks and the Deep North-compatible versions of every player-facing mod.
Server Owners
This profile is intended for players and does not replace a server mod setup. Most of its features are client-side.
If you want the server-side features of Expand World Music or ValheimCommunityPatch, install and configure those mods separately on the dedicated server. The client profile can still be used when connecting to a vanilla or differently configured server.

Play Enigma With Others
The profile can include FastLink entries for the current Enigma community server. Server names, availability, and access details can change between testing periods.
