The Fisher transforms Valheim’s seas and rivers into a vibrant ecosystem filled with new species of fish, aquatic creatures, and fully functional aquariums!
Discover over 30 exclusive fish types, catch them, and display them in customized tanks in your base!

• Adds fishing zones (Meadows, Plains, and Ocean) with natural spawns of colorful and exotic fish.
• Each fish has its own decorative trophy.
• Includes two functional aquarium models — perfect for decorating your base with lively marine life.
• Real-time feeding and interaction system with the fish.
HOW IT WORKS (click to expand)
• Fish are naturally generated in coral reefs and ocean islands that spawn on the map.
• Catch fish and use them to create trophies, add them to your Aquarium, or convert them into Raw Fish.
• Interact with the aquarium to feed the fish and watch their realistic swimming and feeding behavior.
THE AQUARIUM SYSTEM (click to expand)
• Captured fish can be added to the Aquariums;
- Coral Fish (Medium Aquarium) Ocean Fish (Large Aquarium);
• Use the default interaction key (E) to feed the fish.
- They will swim toward the feeding point and orbit around the food for a while.
- Fish do not feel hunger or die; feeding is purely a visual effect.
• Includes visual effects and feeding particles for immersion.
• Attention: When destroying an Aquarium, fish will not be returned.
FISH CONVERSION (click to expand)
• The mod automatically adds recipes to the Cauldron and Food Preparation Table to convert fish into Fish Raw.
• The amount converted depends on the type:
▸ Fish caught in meadow corals = 1 FishRaw
▸ Fish caught in plains corals = 2 FishRaw
▸ Fish caught on ocean islands = 3 FishRaw

HOW TO ADD LOCATIONS TO OLD MAP (click to expand)
Always create a backup of your world before installing or updating this mod. Use at your own risk.
• Install TheFisher mod.
• Install the UPGRADE WORLD mod and its dependencies.
• Start the game as administrator.
• Open the console and type:
- thefisher_add to spawn corals and islands on your old map.
- thefisher_remove to remove corals and islands on your map.
• Wait for the process to finish, it takes between 20 or 30 seconds.
• On dedicated servers you need to download the map and do the steps above in singleplayer
MANUAL INSTALL (click to expand)
• Mod is required on Server for Config Sync (this is still in development).
• Download the latest copy of Bepinex per author's instructions.
• Place the TheFisher.dll inside of the "Bepinex\plugins\" folder.
