Tame wild bears like wolves — then breed them for tiny cubs that grow up right before your eyes.

Features

• Tame bears like wolves. Feed a wild bear raw meat (meat), keep your distance while it tames, then claim it: pet it, give it a name, and command Follow / Stay. It will defend you like any tamed wolf.
• Bears can breed. Keep a fed, tamed pair together and they'll form a loving bond — watch for the heart effects — and after a pregnancy of about a day the mother gives birth in front of you.
• Cubs are born small. Newborn bear cubs spawn at 30% size and grow to full size over one in-game day. All completely configurable.
• New! Rare cub colours. Every newborn cub has a small chance of being Cinnamon, Black or White instead of the natural coat. The colour is rolled once, at birth, and saved to that bear.
• Stats like a wolf's. Bears use the wolf's diet, feeding behaviour and breeding parameters, so everything works exactly like you'd expect from taming a wolf — just bigger, and with cute cubs.

Install

Requires BepInEx and Jotunn for Valheim.

1. Extract the zip into BepInEx\plugins\ inside your Valheim install (the plugins\HeyBooBoo\ folder merges straight in).
2. Start Valheim through your mod manager of choice.
3. Find a wild bear, drop raw meat near it, and stay back while it tames.

Config

BepInEx\config\wayfarers.tameablebears.cfg — all settings reload on next start.

Multiplayer & dedicated servers

Every client needs the mod. On a dedicated server, drop the same dll into the server's BepInEx\plugins\ — breeding is server-authoritative, so the server must run it too.
