Pretty controversial changes. I personally find it more fun to always benefit from Attack Speed, instead of combos being made impossible at a certain point, which is Mercenary's shtick. Also there's a hoax going around that Attack Speed increases the Percent Skill Damage of Eviscerate, don't listen to it, you can test it out in-game yourself.

M1 Changes:

  • Laser Sword Duration no longer scales with Attack Speed.
  • Laser Sword Damage now scales with Attack Speed.
    • 1 Syringe adds +15 percentage points, making each slice deal 145% instead of 130%.

M2 Changes:

  • Whirlwind Duration no longer scales with Attack Speed.
  • Whirlwind Damage now scales with Attack Speed.
    • 1 Syringe adds +15 percentage points, making two slices deal 415% instead of 400%.
  • Whirlwind is now Agile.
  • Whirlwind's Grounded Speed Coefficient 8 => 6.
    • This is to compensate for the large gain in mobility due to it being agile.
  • Rising Thunder Damage 550% => 600%.
  • Rising Thunder Base Duration 0.4s => 0.25s.
  • Rising Thunder Up Vector 3000 => 2000.
    • Changes to make it less janky and more of a sidegrade.
  • Rising Thunder Duration no longer scales with Attack Speed.
  • Rising Thunder Damage now scales with Attack Speed.
    • 1 Syringe adds +15 percentage points, making the slice deal 615% instead of 600%.
  • Rising Thunder is now Agile.

Utility Changes:

  • Blinding Assault Duration no longer scales with Attack Speed.
  • Blinding Assault Damage now scales with Attack Speed.
    • 1 Syringe adds +15 percentage points, making the dash deal 315% instead of 300%.
  • Focused Assault Duration no longer scales with Attack Speed.
  • Focused Assault Damage now scales with Attack Speed.
    • 1 Syringe adds +45 percentage points, making the dash deal 745% instead of 700%.

Special Changes:

  • Eviscerate now attacks the enemies closest to your crosshair.
  • Eviscerate now lets you move and use other skills for the duration.
  • Eviscerate no longer targets allies.
  • Eviscerate Cooldown 6s => 7s.
    • This is a small change so you aren't as invincible with its other changes.
  • Eviscerate Damage Coefficient 110% => 130%.
    • A DPS compensation for the change above.
  • Slicing Winds is now a little bit easier to hit.
  • Slicing Winds is now Agile.
