Hex3Mod 2.0

Adds 1 artifact and 25 new items to the game:

  • 7 Common
  • 5 Uncommon
  • 4 Legendary
  • 7 Void
  • 1 Lunar
  • 1 Lunar Equipment
Icon Description Unlock

COMMON

ATG Prototype
After inflicting 10 hits, fire a missile that deals 80% (+80% per stack) TOTAL damage.
Bucket List
Move 20% faster (+20% per stack). Reduce this bonus by 75% during boss fights.
Hopoo Egg
Jump 20% (+20% per stack) higher. Reduces fall damage.
Shard Of Glass
Increase your base damage by 7% (+7% per stack).
400 Tickets
The next item purchase you make will grant double the amount of items. Consumed on use.
Balance
Gain a maximum 20% chance to dodge attacks (+20% per stack, hyperbolic) the slower you're moving: Full chance while not moving, half chance while walking or receiving a speed debuff, and no chance while freely sprinting.
Miner's Helmet
Every time you earn $25 (Scaling with time), reduce your skill cooldowns by 2 seconds (+2 per stack).
UnlockCarry enough money to buy 3 legendary chests.

UNCOMMON

Empathy
When an enemy takes damage within 20m of you, heal for 2 hp (+2 per stack).
Scattered Reflection
Reflect 7% of all received damage back to your attacker, magnifying it by 70% (+70% per stack). For every Shard Of Glass in your inventory, reflect 0.7% (+0.7% per stack) more damage.
Scavenger's Pack
When an item is consumed or broken, replace it with a brand new one. This may occur up to 3 times before the pack is empty.
The Unforgivable
Activate your on-kill effects at your location once (+1 per stack) every 8 seconds.
Overkill Overdrive
Amplify the radius of your area buffs and holdout zones by 20% (+20% per stack).

LEGENDARY

Apathy
When an enemy dies within 20m of you, gain a stack of Apathy. After reaching 15 stacks, enter a frenzy which grants you +100% movement speed, attack speed and 15 hp/s of regeneration for 5 seconds (+5s per stack).
Mint Condition
Provides immunity to movement restricting status effects. Gain 20% movement speed (+40% per stack) and 1 (+2 per stack) extra jumps.
Elder Mutagen
Killing a new monster species grants a permanent 4% max health and 1 hp per second regeneration bonus. Each stack allows you to gain this bonus 1 more time from all species.
Do Not Eat
Chests have a 8% (+8% per stack) chance to also contain a Pearl or an Irradiant Pearl.

VOID

Corrupting Parasite
At the start of each stage, 1 random item will be corrupted into its void equivalent (+1 per stack).
UnlockEnter the Deep Void.
Notice Of Absence
Become invisible for 10 seconds (+5 per stack) whenever a boss spawns or a teleporter event begins. Corrupts all Bucket Lists.
Drop Of Necrosis
Your attacks have a 5% (+5% per stack) chance to inflict Blight, which deals 5% more damage for each stack of this item. Corrupts all Shards Of Glass.
Captain's Favor
Stages contain 10% (+10% per stack) more interactables. Corrupts all 400 Tickets.
Discovery
Using a world interactable grants 3 points per stack of regenerating shield to every player who has this item. Caps at 300 shield per stack. Corrupts all Infusions.
Spattered Collection
Your attacks have a 10% chance to inflict Blight, which now reduces enemies' armor by 2 (+2 per stack) for each stack. Corrupts all Scattered Reflections.
The Hermit
Taking damage grants a stacking damage resistance of 5% that lasts for 10 seconds (+5 per stack). Corrupts all Symbiotic Scorpions.

LUNAR

One Ticket
This ticket grants legendary items when deposited into a cleansing pool: One (+1 per stack) for each stage cleared while holding it. ALL enemies spawn as Perfected Elites while it is in your inventory, and each stack makes them stronger.
UnlockUse 400 Tickets to duplicate the contents of a Scavenger's bag.

LUNAR EQUIPMENT

Blood Of The Lamb
Purge 6 of your items for a random boss item. Any item except Lunar, Tierless, or Boss items may be purged.

ARTIFACTS

Artifact Of Bugs
Gives you one Corrupting Parasite each stage.

Each item has a unique effect and configurable values. Special thanks to the RoR2 Modding Discord for teaching me how to do this, and for providing enough feedback on the mod to get it to this point.

  • Overkill Overdrive no longer prevents bustling fungus from stacking. However, be careful about using mods that change the radius of Bustling Fungus or Focus Crystal, as they'll most likely break this item and cause errors. I may add special support for mods like this in the future.

A lot of the mechanics in the mod felt too convoluted, and some just didn't feel good to play. In this update I hope to revamp the items in a way that keeps their original purpose, but makes them more consistent and useful. Let me know how I've done!

  • Added item "Do Not Eat" (Legendary)
  • Hopoo Egg rework: Jump higher and take less fall damage.
  • Empathy rework: Heal for a fraction of the damage your allies take.
  • Apathy rework: Gain a permanent max health and damage buff when an ally is killed, as well as full barrier.
