This custom rundown is my first foray into the GTFO modding space, as well as level design in general. This rundown was curated for me and my friends, and is in no way meant to appeal to everybody. As such, do not download this expecting quality! That being said, this rundown is faithful to vanilla and is designed for the more experienced GTFO player.
ALT://R7 is a full custom A–E tier Rundown built as a side narrative occurring parallel to vanilla Rundown 7, designed to bridge directly into the events of Rundown 8: Duality. This Rundown consists of 14 levels, ranging from an easy A1 to a challenging E2.
This campaign follows the discovery of an anomalous HSU genome signature deep within a neglected archive sector of the Complex. What appears to be a corrupted viral sample becomes something far more significant: a cross-dimensional variant map, a integral component for Schaeffer's ultimate goal.
The result is not a cure, but a Genetic Matrix mapping how the infection expresses across membranes. But forcing this synthesis destabilizes the system responsible for maintaining it. The deeper you go, the less the system tolerates your presence.
