TheGildedGambit
25,000 Credits Is Your Quota. Your goal is to purchase the golden throne. A Lethal Company progression path tailored to how I enjoy the game, less agressive quota scaling at the cost of difficulty in many other ways. The Gilded Gambit
25,000 Credits Is Your Quota.
THE GOAL OF THIS PROGRESSION IS PURCHASING THE GOLDEN THRONE, a 25,000 credit expense that truly showcases your ability to overcome adversity and adapt to any obstacle.
And once you purchase The Throne, you can go for the bonus goals of the Golden Suit and Golden Crown, each costing 10,000 credits.
GAMEPLAY
This modpack's gameplay loop is focused around LethalMoonUnlocks: By using the discovery config, it cycles the moons that are available every quota, but you can land on a free moon 5 times to permanently unlock it, and purchasing a paid moon will have it steadily discount for the next 5 visits until it's completely free, and landing on it then will cause it to leave your discovery. You start with 3 free planets and 1 paid planet, but sometimes you'll add another to your discovery list through either travelling to a paid planet, or by chance with the day passing.
Due to the new interiors, you'll never truly know what you're in for until you're already in it, part of that may be the many different new sentries throughout the facilities. Next we have the weathers which can greatly vary in difficulty, Of course that's not the only problem for you to deal with, as your ship can randomly malfunction with only a warning, and sometimes not even that.
YOUR BUFFS
You don't think I'd leave you out to dry like that right? You have your own boosts, such as the Late Game Upgrades, which with an addon apply to the cruiser as well. While this is happening, you will consistently be gaining XP, which will allow you to acquire up to 2 more inventory slots as you venture deeper into the late-game. You can also use the commands "istore" and "idecor" to use a more interactive menu for purchasing items, this isn't the default since it breaks a couple things regarding the Golden Throne.
You also have all the items from Code Rebirth to assist, and if you're playing with your friends you can use the defibrillator from UsualScrap to get your friends back in the game. And let's say your whole crew unfortunately perishes against the nature of the planet (or by setting off the nuclear bomb), your scrap won't be lost, although the quota will increase by a reasonable amount. And while the planet's moon may try to crash into you at times, the company will pay you an additional bonus* for scrap found on weather'd planets. (see what i did there?)
If anyone plays this modpack, it'd be an honor for you to tag me on YouTube (same name as here) with your experience with it, comment or video, along with any criticism.
