An Introduction to the CR Wiki

Updated 3 weeks ago

Welcome

Welcome to the official wiki for the Code Rebirth mod. After 2+ years of the mod's existence, it has changed and grown alot, way past any of us ever could've imagined. Case in point, the mod is very big and can be very confusing. Which is why we've decided to write the wiki page for the mod to help old and new players alike. My name is QWERTYrodrigo, Co-creator of Code Rebirth, and I'll the one writing all of this hopefully very pertinent info. If you have any questions on the mod or wiki, have any suggestions (or insults, hopefully not, id cry) feel free to contact us in the Code Rebirth thread on the Lethal Modding Server. The rest of this page will cover the general idea behind the organization of the wiki and some info on the mod and its creators.

We believe we've managed to create something we can be proud of and that many others can experience. Thank you to all those playing and supporting the mod, it means the world to us. With that being said, Enjoy!

Word of warning : All info mentioned in this wiki is based off of the established default values of the mod. The mod is highly configurable and these values may be tweaked by the modpack creators.

Organization

The wiki is separated into main game features such as Enemies, Hazards, Moons, Items, ect. The category is listed before the feature in the name. Ex: Enemy: Guardsman, Hazard: Air Control Unit.
Any feature including one or more of those categories or not fitting inside of it are labelled as Misc for Miscellaneous.

Inside each is listed (if applicable) :

  • Name
  • Internal file name (name in the game files and the name used for setting configs)
  • Health
  • Damage
  • Spawn rarity (Generalized, check configs for specifics)
  • Max count
  • Power level (In line with vanilla's power system for determining enemy spawning)
  • Favorite moons (The moons it has the highest spawn chance on, does not include every moon or tag it can spawn on)

Listed below, right before their general description is the config to which they belong to. Some features share configs and disabling a config will disable all the features for it.
Ex : disabling the "Merchant Options" also disables the Guardsman Enemy and the Coin Items
This happens as they are all linked by the same asset bundles. Disabled configs will not be loaded on start. So keep an eye out for that when doing Configs.

That's the more internal info.

Below that is a general description, describing its appearance and slight gameplay. Its a spoiler free way to know a bit more about the enemy without knowing exactly what it does.

If more info is desired then the later sections offer just that.

The gameplay section offers an insight into how it functions and what it does, letting players know what to expect about its behavior in-game.

A lore section is included, diving into the story of the feature in the context of Code Rebirth's Storyline.

The strategies sections is a more in depth look at ways to use or counter enemies to ones benefit. More precise information on certain values is usually given in this section. Allowing for maximum comprehension on a feature.

Finally, a related section is included, listing other entries being related in a way to the feature.
