TempStorageBugfix

A BepInEx client-side mod for Mycopunk that fixes Gear Details temporary upgrade storage becoming unusable after storing 12 upgrades.

The Bug

Temp storage is meant to hold up to 12 upgrades while you rearrange your grid. Vanilla tracks capacity with the size of its internal UI pool list, but removing an upgrade only deactivates the slot instead of shrinking that list.

After 12 upgrades have ever been placed in temp storage for that window instance, every further add fails — even if the tray is empty. Storage becomes unusable until the UI is fully recreated.

The Fix

This mod patches GearDetailsWindow.AddUpgradeToTempStorage so the 12-slot limit counts currently active temp-storage entries, not the lifetime pool size. Removing an upgrade frees a slot immediately, as intended.

Installing

Via Thunderstore (recommended):

1. Install with a Thunderstore mod manager (e.g. r2modman or the Thunderstore App).

Manual installation:

1. Install BepInEx for Mycopunk if you have not already.
2. Copy TempStorageBugfix.dll into <Mycopunk Directory>/BepInEx/plugins/.

Building

dotnet build --configuration Release

The built assembly is written to bin/Release/netstandard2.1/TempStorageBugfix.dll.
