Overview

MistrootTamer is a transformative mod designed specifically for the Mistlands biome in Valheim. This mod introduces a revolutionary way to interact with the biome's mystic mist by centralizing its generation around dynamic, new plant entities called Mistroots. These plants alter the traditional, global mist effects of the biome, making mist management more engaging and visually interesting.

Features

  • Localized Mist Generation: Mist is no longer a constant background element throughout the Mistlands. Instead, it emanates from Mistroot plants, adding a new layer of interaction and strategy.
  • Progressive Mist Clearing: Unlike the vanilla method that relies on a constant Demister effect around the player or objects, this mod allows players to progressively clear mist by attacking the Mistroots, providing a more immersive and rewarding experience. (by default mist for that plant is cleared for 10 minutes)
  • Customizable Mod Settings: Fine-tune how Mistroots and mist behaviors function via the configs, allowing for personalized gameplay.
