Artifact of Grief

Artifact of Grief is designed to make the game more annoying by making the player drop their items when taking damage. The types of damage that trigger this effect and the amount of items dropped can be configured.

For those that think it isn't annoying enough can also allow enemies to pick up items they walk over. When the enemies pick up items they are not lost forever, they will drop the stolen items on their death. Enemies that pick up the items will be given a buff to show how many they're carrying.

Notes

• While this does allow enemies to pick up items, they rely on touching them to do so, this means they cannot pick up Lunar items.
• The above also means that flying enemies are very unlikely to pick them up.
• Rex's life cost from its abilities are not credited as self harm but instead environmental/invalid attacker. (The game probably does this cause crowbars exists or something.)
• This actually enables any character to pick up items not just enemies. The exception to this rule are characters that are considered minions. (Turrets placed by an Engineer, bought drones etc.)

Known Issues

• Your items might drop off a cliff.
• You might be able to crash your game if you get an enemy to grab hundreds of items and then kill them.
• Not tested in multiplayer.
