Presets and limits

Presets (quick personalities)
Under General -> Preset, you pick a starting style. The mod applies it when the game loads by adjusting several numbers at once.
| Preset | Plain-English vibe |
|---|---|
| Custom | Don't auto-touch anything; only your manual settings matter. |
| VanillaPlus | Gentle bumps -- closer to normal stacking feel. |
| Chaos | Turn the exponential dial up; expect wild scaling if caps aren't tight. |
| ProcHell | Favors proc category tuning + aggressive growth (still respect your safety caps). |
| MMOScaling | Logarithmic-flavored growth with a softer long curve. |
| Hardcore | Strong diminishing-style curve -- harder to snowball. |
| MovementDisabled | Pushes movement category influence to zero for that multiplier setup. |
After switching presets, if numbers look stuck, restart once so everything picks up cleanly.
Safety section (what matters today)
Config has a ProcSafety block. Right now the parts that actively clamp stacking are:
- MaxProjectilesPerFrame -- Limits how huge a single accelerated grant can be in one shot (burst guard).
- Unsafe hard cap (under Unsafe items) -- Clamps unsafe items' resulting stack target.
Other entries like max proc depth, max velocity, max attack speed, max damage coefficient exist as planned / reserved knobs -- they're not fully wired into live combat hooks yet. Treat them as "for future updates" unless you're testing configs early.
If you want maximum stability today, combine:
- Reasonable global max stack
- Blacklist / unsafe lists on nightmare items
- SoftCap / Hyperbolic modes on shaky categories
