A modpack designed to improve gameplay performance and fix known bugs or inconvenience issues. It utilizes mods that are made for this purpose, tested together in normal and fully modded games. The aim of this modpack is to keep it simple and serve as a base for other modpacks or mod profiles. Updates will be provided as soon as possible to enhance the modding experience for the entire community.
If you use any mods that is modifying masked enemies (like Skinwalkers or Mirage), you might want to disable fixes for them in config file butterystancakes.lethalcompany.enemysoundfixes.cfg - just change FixMasks to false.
By default, logging is disabled in this modpack. Logging primarily serves debugging purposes during mod or modpack development. For end-user products, logging should be disabled to conserve CPU resources, optimizing the game's performance.
Reduces level loading stutter and voice chat issues. Also offers configurable options like async level generation, AI pathing and performance tweaks.
Dynamically assigns appropriate AI behaviors to enemies upon spawning, based on their location within or outside dungeons. Additionally, it resolves a null reference exception related to EnableEnemyMesh().
Addresses performance issues stemming from NetworkManager.LogLevel set to Developer, which triggers significant lag spikes due to printing RPC Table Contents for every RPC error. To mitigate this, we have fully disabled logging levels, ensuring smoother gameplay without interruptions caused by excessive logging.
A collection of small, vanilla-compatible bug fixes. Key changes include fixes like: stormy weather targeting issues, preserving dropship inventory between sessions and addressing various cruiser and entity bugs. Also resolves issues with climbing stamina, HUD displays and accurate scrap counts, along with several item-specific fixes such as flashlight functionality and kitchen knife visibility.
Addresses and fixes various sound issues, enhancing the audio experience by correcting looping, missing sounds, and improperly pitched effects for different entities in the game. It ensures smoother and more immersive gameplay by resolving these audio problems.
Fixes jetpack issues, particularly the overheat explosions caused by faulty collision detection. Resolves bugs like battery drain, enhances thruster controls and improves interactions with tulip snakes. Additional features include corrected proximity warnings, reduced audio distortion and the option to retain momentum when dropping the jetpack.
Fixes bugs with the shovel and kitchen knife. Resolves an issue where the shovel could become unusable if a player died mid-swing and improves hit effects for better feedback. Also optimizes hit sound playback by referencing a cached instance, reducing lag and improving combat fluidity on less powerful computers.
Fixes issues with weed killer, including making vain shrouds responsive again after the v60 update. Improves spray collision detection for vain shrouds hidden in walls and terrain and fixes the cooldown issue for adding HP/turbo to the Cruiser, ensuring sprays yield consistent results
Patches out the jump delay.
Enhances lobby functionality with features like invite-only lobbies, LAN improvements and custom port settings. Adds a lobby list with direct IP connections, sorting options and lobby tag support. Also integrates Steam's "Recently Played With" feature, offers lobby codes for easy joining and includes customizations for filtering lobby names. Ban prompts now allow custom reasons and kicking players instead of banning.
Reduces startup loading time by 60% by decompressing asset bundles into the game’s cache before loading, improving load speed and reducing RAM usage.
Includes some fixes from upstream repository of HarmonyX.
Optimizes CPU time and minimizes garbage collection allocation, reducing lag spikes for smoother frame times.
Improves the behavior of Company Cruiser by enhancing visibility, reducing damage from minor impacts and fixing various bugs. Features include better seat height, temporary invulnerability and the ability to push destroyed Cruisers. Also fixes desync issues, improves handling and adds minor features.
Allows game saves with over 45 items, with support extended up to 999 items. No longer will items despawn upon saving, making it especially handy when combined with mods supporting more than 4 players or when strategically spending credits on items to evade the on-death penalty. However, caution is advised against overloading your system with an excessive number of items, as it may strain your computer's performance.
An additional layer to streamline logging processes, this mod comes pre-configured to set log levels to Exceptions only. Ideal for instances where other mods interfere with logging, it efficiently minimizes unnecessary log messages, providing a performance boost for systems with limited processing power.
Integrates with the native Unity engine to include BepInEx plugin assemblies in the assembly list, typically reserved for assemblies within the game's Managed/ folder. This resolves a critical bug where custom Serializable structs and similar elements stored in plugin assemblies fail to deserialize properly within the engine.
Allows you to nearly fully look downward in-game, enhancing your perspective and immersion.
Optimizes rendering by culling objects not in view or too distant from the camera, enhancing performance. It's compatible with mods adding cameras, offering two culling methods:
Boosts the maximum number of simultaneously playing sounds in the Unity engine. It should fix for example missing footsteps or sounds issue, especially prevalent in modded versions.
Corrects door hitboxes, facilitating easier item pickups through open doors. However, it requires aiming at the door to close it, which may be seen as both a benefit and a drawback.
Modifies reverb triggers to improve performance without removing map sound cues. Limits checks to players, enemies and ragdolls, reducing unnecessary calculations on terrain and props. Also optimizes how AudioReverbPresets are referenced, improving efficiency during level loading.
Removes the default 16:9 aspect ratio lock, enabling support for any resolution and aspect ratio, including ultrawide monitors. Adjusts the UI, HUD and game rendering for better visibility and screen scaling, fixing misalignment issues on wider displays.
An additional layers to reduce lag spike durations by adjusting the log level of DissonanceVoip. By addressing the issue where DissonanceVoip spamming warnings during lag spikes prolongs the duration, this plugin cuts lag spike durations in half by limiting logging to errors only.
Reduces desyncs by using more explicit networking for key game elements. Patches the current held slot, grabbed object slots and shotgun ammo and safety by broadcasting exact values. Boombox and player status are also synced directly from the host and scrap values are requested if missing. These changes aim to improve multiplayer synchronization.
An additional layer that moves each logging operation to its own thread, separating it from in-game operations and eliminating delays caused by logging. The impact of this improvement grows with the volume of logs generated by your modpack, making it a crucial addition for smoother gameplay.
Fixes Baboon Hawk nests positioning on maps.
Improves item saving, preventing issues with modded items being replaced or misaligned after mod changes. Also fixes item rotation and falling through the floor.
Makes slimes roam the facility instead of camping at entrances.
Optimizes the AI behavior of Bracken, Snare Flea, and Spore Lizard to prevent performance stutters that can occur every 200 milliseconds in specific situations. By distributing the workload of path checks over multiple frames, it mitigates issues stemming from excessive node accessibility checks, improving overall gameplay stability.
