A Complete Gameplay Overhaul and Conversion Modpack
E.X.O. Company is focused on exploration, combat, and progression. I was getting tired of the short and linearly difficult progression of the base game and constantly playing Facility. E.X.O. Company significantly extends the difficulty curve and replayability of random interiors for more long-term, more varied runs for much, much higher quotas.
The base game is focused on survival horror and intentionally handicaps you to comedic and horror effect, but this wears off. This modpack aims to focus on exploration of the custom moons and interiors by making routing free and forcing you to experience different weather conditions using the modes described below. And by giving you access to a full arsenal of tools and equipment as well as increasing the amount of enemies, spawn pools, and loot pools, E.X.O. company 'makes the game both EASIER and HARDER at the same time', significantly shifting the balance and gameplay focus of Lethal Company.
I Suggest Playing E.X.O. In One of Three Ways:
Random Assignment Mode: Each quota, you type 'random' into the terminal to randomly route to a planet. You must accept whatever planet and weather conditions you get and make the most of it. After each landing on a moon, you may re-route to a new planet or choose to stay on the current one for another day.
Optional Rules: You cannot route to a previously visited planet until you have visited all of them in the Moon list (hidden moons excluded). If you route to a previously visited planet on that save, continue typing 'random' until you get a new planet. Once all Moons are explored or the quotas become so high you are forced to select harder planets in order for it to be possible (whichever comes first), you can now freely manually route to any planet for free using Efficient Engines.
You can redo your random route once per quota. When doing a re-roll, if you get a planet that you have already visited, you must land there anyway for that day (instead of continuing to route random until you get an unexplored moon like normal).
Planetary Tour Mode: You start with the first moon, and then at the start of each quota, you manually route to the next moon on the moon list (sorted by difficulty), and you must stay at that moon for the entire quota no matter the conditions. Routing to each moon is free using Efficient Engines (free in the LGU at the start of a save).
Tier One Mode: You are a company supersoldier with a blank check. Use DanceTools 'setcredits' command or set the starting credits in LethalCompanyVariables to give yourselves infinite money. Apply all upgrades using this cash and use any equipment at your disposal without worrying about cash. Now see how far you can get from the start of the game under ideal conditions.
Optional Rules: I'd reccomend using one of the routing rules from the first two modes, or just route to any planet you want. It's also fun to put some limitations on by giving yourselves a set amount of equipment that refills every quota. Say, only as many pro flashlights and walkies as you have players, plus one or two. This reintroduces some penalty for deaths within a quota other than losing scrap.
I'd also strongly reccomend you disable Weather Probing and Scrap Insurance commands as well as the portable teleporter in the Moreshipupgrades config if you are playing this way because they make the game too easy and potentially impossible to fail when you can just buy and use them with infinite money.
Progression: By purchasing upgrades through the LGU store and increasing your stats using levelling progression, you go from a weak, disposable company intern to a Tier One Exploration and Extraction Operator with movement thrusters, night vision, shotguns at your disposal, increased damage, improved endurance, and more. All operators have a utility belt equipped with a dedicated Flashlight slot, Walkie slot, Weapon slot, and Utility slot (Geiger,CharingBooster,Peeper,Keys, etc.)
Exploration: Over 32 planets and 8 new interiors that perfectly suit them, as well as new scrap on each one. Free routing to planets allows you to focus on exploration and extraction. Harder planets net bigger rewards. See below for a full list of planets and what interiors can generate on each one by default.
Gameplay: 3 New Monsters, Facility meltdowns, hunting mobs, contracts, new ways to play, and total gameplay rebalancing featuring an increased loot pool, increased mob spawns, adjusted store prices, more random weathers that progressively get difficult, and a lot of fine tuning to the risk/reward of every moon. Weather Multipliers mean taking on a harder challenge is highly rewarding.
Optimization: Crucial bugfixes and quality of life updates to the game. Optimized dungeon generation and game resolution. Expanded lobbies to include all your friends, improved resolution with little performance hit, late joining, improved inventory system, Immersive Visor, automatic charging upon takeoff, faster bootup, bigger store and sell quantities, easier ship redesign, new terminal commands, and much more. Disable Bodycams and adjust or disable HDLethalCompany to increase performance even more. I personally have noticed little impact from these mods. If you have a better computer and a higher resolution monitor, adjust HDLethalCompany to increase resolution further.
Adjustable Difficulty: Using the LethalCompanyVariables menu when loading a save, you can further modify quota steepness, loot spawn rate and value, mob spawn rate, weather chances, and more. Make sure to save over the profile or save a new profile in the top right to load these settings on any save in the future. Enemy Spawns and the random weather systems will not work properly otherwise. This preset is crucial to adjusting the balance of the new upgrades and higher cashflow.
Cosmetics: New emotes, suits, tons of MoreCompany cosmetics, and more, all suiting the vibe of E.X.O. Company with a few silly things if you so desire.
Create a new profile in Thunderstore/r2modman and then install using the buttons above.
Alternatively, just use this code in your Thunderstore/r2modman for the current version: 01906c2d-d224-1b63-e178-791a297179ae
Rating the modpack if you use the code is much appreciated.
Below is a list of every planet and their possible interiors by default when installing the pack. Adjust the LethalLevelLoader config to your liking to modify these if you so wish, just make sure you save any modified configs and give them to your friends to manually install in their profiles config folder or you may cause a lot of desync issues.

Known bugs/issues in the current build. Any suggestion on resolving these or any new bugs you find, please report on the discord.
Stimpack Upgrade Resets: The Stimpack LGU upgrade will reset health to 100 after each moon run or upon death. Because of this, the health station is enabled from General Improvements by default and each player will need to use it at the beginning of each round if they want the health benefit.
Buyable Shotgun Invisible: The buyable shotgun in the store does not seem to appear for clients currently, only the server host. It is reccomended that players buy the shotgun/shells at the current store price so those credits are deducted, and then just have the serverhost use DanceTools (~ key) to spawn the purchased items in. (It should be "item 58" for the shotgun and "item 59" for shells, currently. Type just "item" to get the item list if you want to make sure.)
No Lethal Resonance: I decided to remove LR while building the pack because it had a significant impact on performance. Add this to the pack at your own risk.
