Info
This is a modpack required on our dedicated server - Weekend Vikings. It is a work in progress, and the server may see some heavy development, and a lot of server wipes must be expected in the start of the servers lifetime. It will be notified on this modpack when the server is more stable.
Server connection
- This pack includes a direct server link - use it to connect!
- A new character must be created, to prevent server jumping.
- Only mods in this pack is allowed to be used on the server.
Server information
The server uses an extensive set of mods, required by this modpack. By bringing new monsters, new items, and over time introducing new areas and scenery to the server, also extends the joy, and gameplay over a longer time. Here is our improvements on the server, compared to Vanilla Valheim.
Cheating and server-jumping
Hav you ever seen a flying viking with infinite amount of HP, and a bright glowing sword one-hitting anything it comes by?
I know I have... And I hate it..
Its often the same people that just cant stand the joy of randomly destroying everyone elses buildings - because they can...
To try and avoid this, we have added an anti-cheat mod, and characters are stored on the server - meaning you HAVE to create a new character when joining this server, and cannot just jump to another to use your command lines and get back again..
PVP and Guilds
This is a PVP server! Not because you HAVE to chase other players, but you can... The reason for this is to have friendly fire enabled, so you cant just go rampage when playing with friends - you also needs to try and avoid hitting eachother. And then there is that one person that just pisses you off because he said something about you - or just didnt look right?.. ;)
Monsters, items and scenery
This is not the time where "less is more"... MORE IS MORE! More monsters to kill, more new places to see. Oh and also remember that on this server items actually despawn if you leave it on the ground for too long!
- In the wild: Items despawn after 30 minutes.
- In bases/floors: Items despawn after 60 minutes.
Your home is safe
Adding a ward to your buildings protects it against those damn griefers!!
