Firebreaker
Firebreaker is an early take on the Ashlands expansion with growth rates that allow players to start anew and quickly progress through the existing biomes. Focus on the things you find fun and enjoy the progression. Spend time building or working on your gear, not countless hours grinding for nothing new.
Key Concepts
Skill progression
- Skill progression mods provide you a number of benefits as you level up those skills and spend time doing the related activities
- More wood from lumbering
- AoE & better drops from wild pickables
- AoE harvesting & planting along with better drops from crops
- Faster taming & better rewards for slaughtering tames
- More mining damage & more ore from mining
- Faster sailing & bigger exploration radius while sailing
- Faster sneaking as you level up your sneakiness
- Stamina and regeneration increases as you use them more
Minor changes
- Significantly reduced penalties for death (skill loss wise)
- Passive boss powers, now earned on the first kill, with a second providing access to the bosses active
- Upgrade items past their normal max levels! An extremely expensive way to keep your favorite item in usage, or be well prepared for the next biome
- Thats right, epic loot! But this isn't the Epic loot you might have first known.
- Loot drops are much more in-line with vanilla
- current biome weapons only unlocked as drops after beating the boss of that biome, no more get lucky and never have to craft something.
- Craft a "Rune Focus" and walk near existing Vegvesirs (the standing red runestones you see) then "use" the rune to absorb their powers
- Different biomes have different rune powers you can unlock
- Runes can be recharged by absorbing vegvesirs
- Offer trophy sacrifices to wild shrines in exchange for a challenge with great rewards
- Craft a shrine of challenge, and summon waves of enemies in exchange recieve a desired reward
- These challenges are pretty hard and its recommended you bring a friend or have significant fortifications / better gear

This modpack comes pre-configured with a default set of configurations, feel free to adjust them to your playstyle or use them when enforcing configuration for a server.
FAQ
Q. There are a bunch of custom armors I can't make on the stonecutter? A. These are OP or disabled Southsil armors, however there is a bug with the mod which means whenever the client is restarted (ie you start your game) all the recipes are re-enabled. So they are all setup on the stone cutter to require upgrades. They are uncraftable. It is possible in the future these will be balanced into place better.
Q. There are updates for mods in this modpack, what do I do? A. Update them! I will not be pushing changes to the modpack that simply update mods, changes to the modpack will either include new mods or significant configuration updates.
Q. The chest inventory is overlapping my inventory!
A. Depending on your screen resolution this can happen with the default configs, you can fix it by adjusting Chest Inventory Y

, this is a client sided configuration so can be changed to fit your preference and won't be enforced by the server.
Server Specifics
Southsil armor should NOT be installed on the server, clients should use the same configuration file to ensure damage/health being the same across all. Southsil armor being installed on the server can cause disconnects due to the size and frequency if anything is changed with the mod during runtime.
