The Changes

  • Attacking slows you down a bit for a short while, and disables jumping for a short while.
    • Agile skills are entirely unaffected by this - you don't get slowed down.
    • Slowdown percent also scales with your hitbox size to be more fair.
    • Movement speed items reduce this effect, I'm still working on balancing it.
  • Sprinting speed multiplier starts out at a lower value and instead builds up speed over time.
    • Starts out at 1.16x, builds up over ~3 seconds to increase your speed by up to 2x in total.
  • Acrid's, MUL-T's and REX' hitboxes are smaller.
  • All enemies have much longer range and better aim, bosses teleport back when out of bounds.
  • Certain skills that make sense to be agile are now agile, and one more skill now counts as a combat skill.
    • Mercenary's Secondaries are agile
    • Mercenary's Alt Special is agile
    • Huntress' Secondary is agile
    • Engineer's Alt Utility is a combat skill
  • There is a hyperbolic speed cap to prevent losing control of your movement later on.
    • It's 35m/s, which is pretty hard to achieve until you've hit a couple of loops.
  • Everything in Risk of Options is configurable in realtime. Things could desync if your config doesn't match the other players.

Any constructive feedback is welcome, this is a very experimental mod :P
