Essence

Essence are magical potions crafted at the Crystal Workbench.
They serve both a cosmetic and symbolic role in necromancy:

• They determine the color of the necromancer’s gear.
• They also set the cape color of summoned skeletons tied to that necromancer.
• They can be used when constructing beacons.

This allows each necromancer to develop a visual identity on the battlefield.

Crafting

Essence potions are crafted directly at the Crystal Workbench.
Each recipe requires crystals combined with common reagents.

• Recipes unlock gradually as the necromancer discovers new reagents.
• Only one Essence may be active at a time — equipping a new one overwrites the previous.
