Testing the mods for updates and fixes. This is a work in progress! Not playable.
After hours and hours trying to fix this modpack to be playable on Mistlands, I've given up. The DEVS changed so much in the backend that the modders have not been able to keep up with the changes, it's taking them 9-months to a year just to catch up.
I really loved what we created/configured for this game, because it was an awesome RPG/MMO feeling experience, but this project is taking too much away from my life and livestream. What we created pre-Mistlands was so damn cool, and it's sad the DEVs won't let us play a previous version of the game (that we consider more fun).
It's possible that if I spend 12 hours a day for the next 4 weeks, I can get something working, but not guaranteed. Part of the problem is that some of the modding community (after Discord reading posts) have personal issues between each other, and intentionally built "incompatible" clauses in their code so that you can't use the mods at the same time. Some of these incompatibilities, for example, are between Valheim+ and the Odin Team, maybe more. Other great modders have picked up the slack to fix / bandaid these issues. Shout out to Azumatt and Huntard these guys are champs and been doing their best to provide something we can play.
There's still incompatibility issues related to RRR, monsters, raids, and (maybe) CLCC. These are the fundamental systems of the game, and what made this modpack fun! (High difficulty mobs, raids, and base defense.) Without these mods working, our community no longer wants to play the game.
Thanks everyone we worked with, especially when things were a blast during the pandemic. We made the game better than the original and I've put over 1000 hours into the game (mostly this modpack).
I don't know if I can ever come back to this project, because it has now become a distraction, a rabbit hole, with no end in sight because it's not clear if the mods work out of box. This game was a sandbox, building, RPG, MMO, boss encounters, hour long fights, base defense, exploration, was the best experience in gaming.
