Trash

Updated a month ago

What counts as “Trash”

  • Any allied chest in the same territory whose name contains trash (case-insensitive). Examples: Trash, trash can, burn-trash.

There is no special blocklist for Trash during matching. If you put items in your Trash chest, normal player stashing can top up those same stacks. If you want Trash to stay a one-way sink, keep it empty between clears.

Adding "trash" to any chest will just allow it to be deleted if you choose.

How to empty Trash

1) Double-sort

  • Open a chest that has trash in the name.
  • Double tap the sort button in the chest's inventory while that chest is open.
  • That chest will be emptied.

2) Command

  • Command: .emptytrash
  • Empties all Trash chests in your current territory.
  • Admin only: You can use VRoles to give this command to others if you wish, but its set to admin only to reduce accidents.

Safety gates (when emptying is blocked)

Emptying is refused if any of these are true:

  • You are outside a territory.
  • You are dead or downed.
  • The castle heart for that territory is not allied with you.
  • The heart is in an active event (for example attacked).
  • You are in PvP combat.

Interaction with stashing

  • Player stashing: Trash is not excluded from the “match existing stacks” scan. If a Trash chest already contains an item, stashing may add more of that item. Solution: keep Trash chests empty or avoid seeding them with items you care about.
  • Trash is not part of the overflow or conveyor system, unless it is also paired with those tokens. For example: trash overflow trash r6

Troubleshooting

  • Double-sort does nothing: Make sure the chest name contains trash and you are allied with the heart in that territory. Check that you are not dead, downed, or in PvP combat.
  • Stashing fills Trash: You put an item in Trash earlier, so stashing is matching that stack. Empty the Trash chest, then try again.
  • Command says denied: Use the in-game double-sort method instead if you are not an admin.
